This is actually a nice small hotel, on a waterfront. I accidentally drove to a larger hotel nearby and it was more expensive and looked a bit worn-out. True, there is some occasional car racing going on in the evening, but the police tries to handle it. The area is very safe. Not too noisy and nothing funny goes on...

Great price, decent accommodations, excellent breakfast and fast wifi. Can't ask for anything more! This hotel was a great place to stay on the way to Ushuaia. Easy to find, nice views and friendly star made it very enjoyable for the night.

I share the concerns of some reviews, what to expect in this part of Argentina? Miramar was above this expectation and for a very good price. Facing the bay, near the children's park, that made a difference for us with our little son. Friendly service helped to feel welcome. Definitely a very good option to stay in San Julian.

Simple room, clean, breakfast was ok. Price relatively high compared to other places. Shower difficult acces. Noisy. Only spanish speaking staff. Not very helpful when we asked them to book us a boat tour. From the outside the place looks really nice inside a bit deceiving.

Just don't get your expectations up too high before you travel here. We like the Miramar. It has a nice view over the ocean and is relatively new. It's run by a few...
