Well this is the place for you! Ok so a lot of bees, i wouldn't be such a complainer if it wasn't for the fact it took me forever to breakdown my tiny camp because of all the bees. I was bikepacking on the island and stayed here one night before biking back to Avalon. I bought wood that was...

I don’t like to complain and rarely give bad reviews, but I also depend on this site to get information about places I’ve never been, so here is some information I wish I had had: This campsite is just okay. My husband and I are on an 8 week roadtrip, and about 80% is camping, so we have stayed in...

If you want to avoid most of the tourists that congregate in Avalon, and you prefer tents over hotels, then consider Two Harbors. It's a convenient campground about half a mile hike from the pier, which is where you will come in by boat. An inexpensive round-trip gear haul is offered upon arrival, so if you are packing heavy, it's...

We've come here several times and always got a campsite close to the water. It's amazing to look out of your tent right at the ocean! It's definitely roughing it because it is tent camping. But if you like camping, like the ocean, and LOVE snorkeling as much as I do, it doesn't get much better! The marine wildlife is...

We somehow had a good family trip to Two Harbors, but the campground pushed the limits of our tolerance. we rented a 6 person tent for $350 for two nights. The tent was dirty, the campground was in disrepair (with rickety and dangerous wooden stairs up to the campsite), many of the chemical toilets had no toilet paper, and my...

We camp at TH every summer. We honeymooned here last year. This month I booked a campsite for three nights to celebrate our anniversary, paid in full for three nights, hauled all our gear uphill ourselves to find a group of guys had taken our site and set up a full-on camp. Completly RUDE! I flagged the Ranger, some new...

Stayed here many times after visits to Two Harbours. Loved it each time. The bar at Two Harbours is a great place, and some of my most memorable (if a little fuzzy) nights have been there, and it's so convenient to have such a stunning campground so close. I'd recommend this place to anyone as long as you aren't expecting...

We had a cabin tent for one night and I can't say that I enjoyed it. The place is on a dirt ground, by the end of the day the dust and dirt is lingering everywhere. Having said this if you are a true camper and enjoy everything that comes with it: bugs, portable potties and getting dirty this is...

I've been camping here every year for over a decade and absolutely loving it. However, in the past 3 years or so they've started using a phone service that charges you $10 any time you want to speak with someone. The first thing they do is get your credit card information. They will not speak with you at all, no...

I have camped at Two Harbors Campground at least a handful of times. It is a spectacular campground with stunning views. However, the Catalina Island Company's reservation system is HORRIBLE. Without question, they purposely take your deposit up front with ease on the computer. However, you cannot change or cancel your reservation on the same website but instead must leave...
