We have just spent 3 amazing days staying at the Post Office. What an amazing place - an historic mountain cottage but with all the creature comforts. We couldn't have asked for more. The owners were super helpful and friendly. The location was great, away from the crowds but only 10 minutes to everything. We would definitely recommend this place... More

I recently stayed in Pender Lea 2 Bedroom Chalet. The room was incredibly spacious with room for many more. The fireplace was perfect and the features were excellent! The bathrooms were a bit out dated but the shower was comfortable and did not disappoint I would stay here again, maybe with a few more friends!

So much work has obviously been put into making this historical building into a comfortable and character-filled alpine experience. We thought that it should have appeared on Grand Designs! Highly recommended.

We stayed there during the school holidays with three young kids after a friend told us about the place. We had a two bedroom chalet which was perfect. The kids enjoyed the horse riding and we found the staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again for the money as it is so central too everything.

We have been going to the snowy mountains for many years skiing and have just discovered that beauty of the region during summer. This was the first time I have stayed at Pender Lea Chalets. A great location, and would now stay there instead of the ski resorts, as Pender Lea is close to the Ski Tube and Threbdo. For... More

Stayed with a group in one of the chalets last season and we didn't have a very good experience. The customer service during the booking process and lead up to our stay was beyond awful and while we were there the cleaning staff were pushy (driving up before check out to clean) and staff also drove up to collect the... I stayed in the chalet for 10 people in September 2014. The chalet was exactly as advertised, really beautiful! The chalet was clean and the kitchen was well supplied. It is a bit of a drive to Jindabyne but my friends and I cooked on the bbq. It was pretty bush to stay in, we went horse riding next door... More

Superb accommodation all year round. Enormous wood fire places for winter or air conditioning in summer. It is one of life's forgotten soul soothers, to wake up in the morning overlooking expansive views of nature. Almost all accommodation types (having stayed in most) are immersed deep into Australian bush. The property offers horse riding facilities, their own private section of... More

Wow..on arrival it was exactly as we had seen on the website! Probably better. We stayed for 7 nights, family of 4, plenty of room, extremely homely, with all the mod cons you need for a comfy stay. We have never been in this region so we experienced some mountain living, with 2 days at the snowfields and some Kosciousko... More

My partner and I stayed in the bedsitter for 3 nights (11th-13th Sept) and we cannot fault the place. Close to the shops and about a 30-45 min drive from the 2 main snowfields. The room is very spacious and has all the necessities! Conveniently out the front of the property is Thredbo Valley Horse Riding centre which offer trail... More
