Not only have they sent me to a room with somebody already in it the front desk are completely incompetent keeping me standing in reception for 10 mins plus. Not impressed and won't be back thanks a lot.

Stayed for 1 night at The Bristol on business. Smart, modern classic looking hotel. My bathroom needed a little TLC but I found the staff very friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast which was excellent in terms of choice (the cooked buffet items could have been hotter) and the location looks out into the water

So glad we picked this hotel for our 2 night trip - and so worth paying for an upgrade for a harbour view. It's such a central location you are close to everything. Room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable, pillows a little hard. Would have liked more tea bags and milk but that's a "nice to have". Breakfast was...

We booked this visit on a 'Love Bristol' package which was such good value. Good room - although the soft furnishings are crying out for an update and our window, which overlooked the harbourside, was so dirty with bird poo it was seriously off putting. Staff as always were great. I love breakfast here as not only is the choice...

Rooms comfortable and nice to have a bath but bathroom slightly on the small size. Staff are the friendliest and helpful of any hotel I've stayed in. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Fantastic Hotel, really enjoyed my stay here, 3 day weekend break. Couldn't fault it any way. Bedrooms were crisp & clean, very spacious. Breakfast was amazing, full board breakfast with lots of variety. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout stay. Would high recommend.

My wife and I stayed at The Bristol for two nights as a part of a birthday celebration. We stayed in a 'Deluxe Queen' room which was spotlessly clean and well appointed, although the 'Queen bed' was too soft for our personal liking. There was a comprehensive and tasty buffet breakfast available in the Riverside restaurant. We also chose to...

My sister treated me to Afternoon Tea here, a lovely selection of cakes and sandwiches and 2 delicious mini scones. The staff went thw extra meal and put 'happy birthday' on the plate! We ideally wanted a waterfront view but was sat in the corner of the bar area which actually turned out very nice. There was a wedding party...

I thought that for the price I paid, the bar service was very poor and the breakfast very disappointing. I was waiting in the bar to be served a cocktail and no one came. I had to go up to the bar while the odd table was being served. When my nephew arrived to join me for a drink, it...

We booked the Hotel Bristol, well in advance, for a two day stay over Easter – £237.60 for a double room with street view, via booking.com. The hotel is very modern with a good position by the water's edge, where the light and airy breakfast room is situated - just down the steps from the well-stocked bar. A few minor...
