Welcome to The Bristol! Anyone spending any length of time in Bristol is likely to come across The Bristol. Sitting pretty on the quayside of the Floating Harbour, this luxury Bristol hotel is surrounded by the best of Bristol's Old City and maritime history: the Bristol Old Vic and the beautifully restored Queens Square, Bristol Cathedral and At Bristol (across Pero's Bridge), and of course The Arnolfini, Bristol's celebrated contemporary arts centre is right next door. For all these reasons, The Bristol is hard to avoid, even by visitors who are staying elsewhere. Those who do stay at our hotel in Bristol get to experience our great location, greatly reduced overnight car park rates of £5 at the adjacent NCP, the fresh, modern luxury of our bedrooms, and the chic cuisine and quayside ambience of The River Grille and Shore Café Bar. Make sure you are among them and choose The Bristol, the finest Bristol Hotel!

A very central hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff, nothing was a problem to any of the staff from those serving breakfast, the bar staff or the girls on reception. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Dear Sunshine10101, That really does sound like a "fantastic stay' and 'fantastic service'. It's clear that we have delivered on every aspect of your guest journey with us, which is a wonderful reward for all of us at The Bristol. Our Shore Bar has recently had its harbourside terrace refurbished and it's brilliant to receive anecdotal evidence of how much our visitors are enjoying the new ambience created by our Bar Team. Thank you for sharing your 5 star review with the Trip Advisor Community. We can't wait to see you returning again soon, for more of the same. Kind regards, Brett Atkinson Senior Guest Relations Manager The Bristol

Dear DayTrip39214470030, It's great to see from your succinct review that you were afforded a fantastic stay with us at The Bristol. Our Breakfast and Housekeeping Teams will be especially pleased to receive your praise. The intention of the decor and ambience in many of our guest's room is to create an environment to relax and unwind - hence the low lighting, though we, of course, have plenty of options available to tailor to individual requirements. We very much look forward to seeing you again soon - Thank you so much for sharing your 5 star review! Kindest regards, Brett Atkinson Business Excellence Manager The Bristol

This Hotel is a perfect city hotel. But the functions that the hotel hosts, like the wedding which we faced today just takes over the hotel and the service is terrible. Your have to wait 30 minutes to check in and then the same to check out. You will not be able to get room

Dear Guide56938670398, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your direct feedback following your weekend visit ... Let's start with the positive: your appreciative comments on the hotel in general prove that you are clearly impressed with the overriding impression at The Bristol, which is fantastic to hear. Our Conferencing Team do host weddings and larger events throughout the year, and we always endeavour to ensure that the main areas of the hotel remain accessible and available for all of our guests to enjoy. We fully acknowledge that when we have those larger volume of guests attending events and functions at any given time that they will avail themselves of areas throughout the property, creating more peak service times than we would normally expect (though, I genuinely believe that our Lobby area has never, and never will, experience a queuing time of 30 minutes). We are always looking to improve and all feedback forms the building blocks for our ongoing development, and though we were extremely busy during your visit we will be sure to follow up as to why the telephones were not being answered by Room Service and our Front Office Team. We very much look forward to welcoming you back for a much more relaxed stay in the future, and offer our sincerest apologies for the negative impact our meetings and events operations had on your visit on this occasion. Kindest regards, Brett Atkinson Business Excellence Manager The Bristol

We had a very good Christmas lunch there a couple of years ago. If you live in Alveston, you might be wise to book a room as well...

Yes it's a ncp carpark next to the hotel. I cannot remember if there was a height restriction. But the parking charge is 5 quid for your stay if ur a guest at the hotel as opposed to 32 quid per day if ur not a guest. Would be worth a phone call to check the height restrictions if any
