Helpful staff from booking connecting rooms onwards. Great location on the docks. We enjoyed the Shaun the sheep trail! We stayed during the harbour festival and it was quite noisy but the good windows and curtains helped and we all slept fine.

This is excellent venue to hold a family reunion. Ideal for overseas cousins to enjoy the facilities and attractions in Bristol. All the party enjoyed themselves. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we all had very good time.

Dear georgedD4876QS, Thank you for the excellent review. I was glad to read that you had a memorable experience with us. I know family reunions are sometimes difficult to organise for which I was happy to see it was a success. I do hope to see you back in the future , if not for the next reunion. Sincerely, Peter...

We stayed here for a couple of nights sightseeing in Bristol. The location was great for our purposes with all points of interest within walking distance. The welcome was good, friendly and efficient. The room was roomy and well laid out (not sure about a frosted glass bathroom door though). Good choice of coffee and water provided. The breakfasts were...

Dear Pete R, Thank you for the great review. I was glad to read that you had an enjoyable stay with us. Breakfast is one of the hallmarks of our business and its great to read you had a great start to the day with it. Can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel with such small bedrooms - if someone had indeed tried to swing a cat, the stains would have been all around the walls. The staff are ok if a little stand-offish! Our room overlooked an alleyway which seemed to echo with the noise of all the evening resellers. The bed...

Dear TGWheeler, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay. We have taken all comments on board. The bedroom size for some of our standard rooms are suitable for one and cosy for two. The structure and design of the building are out of control at present, but understanding the issue you have raised...

Spent 1 night at the end of June, excellent location with the Bristol nightlife on you're doorstep, had a harbourside room, after reading other reviews I expected it to be noisy but the room was very quiet. The carpark adjacent to the hotel makes parking very easy.Breakfast the next morning was excellent, would stay again if we were in Bristol for the night.

We were given a room on 3rd floor on Prince Road side and I did wonder if it was going to be noisy. It was with plenty of traffic passing. However when all windows were closed the triple glazinng proved very effective. Pity they do not have air conditioning, so apart from when we slept we did keep windows open...

Dear peterw707, Thank you for the great review. I was glad to read you had an enjoyable breakfast experience and that the black pudding were greatly appreciated. The Air Con and single beds were not deliverable on this occasion, but I will do my utmost on any future bookings you make to ensure that we can provide these options when...

From the moment I first contacted Karen Matthews, events organizer, and discussed our requirements, everything was according to my requests and to plan. The buffets ordered were so delicious and of a very high standard which said a lot as many of the dishes were left empty as my family guests refilled their plates throughout both evenings. Excellent service throughout...

Very nice hotel, with great facilities, very polite and friendly staff. Room was very nice with decent sized bathroom although softer pillows were required for the second night as one of the two provided were too hard. The Bristol hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Bristol, with a car park right next door. The hotel itself was really nice, clean and the room was very spacious. The breakfast was very good. The staff were helpful and polite and I would definitely stay there again.
