I've just checked in, only to be told that because I paid by MasterCard I was not entitled to the breakfast I just paid for, included in the room rate. Apparently if I'd paid by Visa my breakfast would still have been included as I was promised. Totally unapologetic front of house staff. So angry that I am shaking with... More

I booked the one night break leisure package in a king sized room and was looking forward to using the leisure facilities. I was surprised therefore to be told the reason there were no dressing gown and slippers in the room was because these were for suite guests only - surely anyone on a leisure break should be given these?... A lovely, professionally run hotel. We had a family room - 2 king size beds with views across College Green with ensuite with bath. Very impressed when we arrived. We were given the option to book breakfast for the next morning - £10 per adult, under 12 year olds free, so we booked this. The pool and spa was free... More

Yes a bit pricey but got a good deal and the room I got was excellent. Clean, very spacious and generally a calm and classy atmosphere. The staff smiled whenever i walked past them and were incredibly friendly generally. I'm not sure what more you would want for a room. For the same price on that night I could have... More

We usually go for Premier Inns or similar but the Marriott was available for almost the same price so we treated ourselves and really enjoyed it. Big room, proper nice bathroom with shampoo etc, pool and spa, an air of comfort. We went to the late night bar after our concert and enjoyed the ambience. Would stay there again; also... More

As a surprise, I booked a long weekend at this Hotel for my wife's birthday. We were booked to see Billy Elliott on the Saturday evening & I wanted something a little upmarket to make the weekend special! How disappointing it turned out to be.
