The hotel is centrally located and has its own private car park and for 24 hours parking was £16.00. The breakfast was fantastic, the choice amazing, facilities great, room was spacious and clean, will definitely book again

Really lovely hotel! Pool was a lovely temp and nice and big! Hotel rooms were generous in size, very clean and a great night sleep. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were really helpful. Great location too. If I had to mention anything it would be the price of parking, but considering everything else it was...

Stayed at this hotel for one night for a joint celebration with friends. We ordinarily choose budget hotels when booking a stay but decided to give this one a go due to proximity to the local nightlife. We're so glad we did. It was a wonderful stay with warm, friendly and approachable staff. The beds were comfortable. The room was...

Warm and helpful welcome on arrival. Great large comfortable room with everything a traveler would want. Very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. House keeping staff were always on hand and helpful and replenished all requisites in the room daily. Wonderful freshly cooked breakfast. Roman style bath house below the hotel was a great facility. Will definitely return should I...

Been staying here 3 nights for a business meeting and it's freezing. Many guests have been complaining of cold bedrooms on all floors and the hotel has done nothing to fix the problem. Fortunately I had a fleece to wear at night but don't expect this poor service, room freezing and glad to leave. I guess they save a load...

Stayed at the hotel on the New Year's Eve for one night. Busy on check in and offered a glass of wine whilst waiting, good touch. Had a lovely room overlooking the harbour and skyline of Bristol. Great location and service and very good breakfast selection. Didn't use the spa facilities but have previously which are a nice bonus. Would...

This is just what you would expect from a well appointed Victorian hotel. Large rooms, expansive open general areas such as the reception, modern dining room but a largely unaltered function room. The dining room served excellent meals and breakfast was a treat with omelettes and poached eggs done to order, fried and scrambled from the buffet (scrambled with ham...

Ideally situated for all amenities, rooms average view of a brick wall not ideal, but clean, comfortable and functional. Excellent reception and concierge staff. Had breakfast room service which was good, no complaints at all and the location really makes this hotel. Would return if in the area again.

The hotel is perfectly placed to explore the town. Lively bar on the ground floor. Almost adjoining Bristol Cathedral. Friendly, well trained staff, but a little formal..... A good bit of history (short history on display in the lifts) associated with the hotel building, which enhances the layout and adds to it's attraction I would stay again.
