I loved staying at this guest house. The decor throughout is beautifully done. I had a really comfy bed and nice clean room with en suite. I had the window open all night as it was really quite warm as we had a bit of a British heat wave going on but I didn't hear a thing all night. So...

Small room, no wardrobe only four hangers on hooks, our view was a wall, we were told by a lady cleaning not to open window because of the seagulls and if our room was smelling of seagull poo to ask someone to come and spray the room. Didn't have breakfast here.

This was our first stay in Bristol and an enjoyable one too. The Brooks Guesthouse is in a very good location within the old town area. On arrival you enter via a nice courtyard area with a small pond. A pleasant area to sit out in if the weather is nice. The convenient location does come at a price, though....

Very noisy location. Brits need to get organised re alcohol and urban hygiene. Super site translates badly to reality. Tiny room. Starved of loo paper, soap. Breakfast room needs massive ventilation rethink. Kind, good staff bar one.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Reception and night porter excellent. Breakfast staff good too. Breakfast was perfect and of a really high quality. Lounge and garden area really attractive. Price fair. My only complaint is that the rooms are small as are the bathrooms. Be prepared for compact rooms but the pluses of location service fantastic breakfast more than make...

Brooks Guesthouse is a great find in central Bristol. Once through the gates its a real haven. There was a hiccup with the first room allocated as there was a very weak wifi signal which was essential for us. However, the staff got us another room with improved wifi which was great. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast...

Whilst the caravans on the roof are fun and quite comfortable - they are incredibly noisy ! The bars in the street below are open until about 5am. It may be quieter in the week but Friday and Saturday night are horrendous. On the first night we asked to be moved and were told no rooms available until Sunday. On Sunday...

Very comfortable bed and room was amazingly clean. Loved the decor and the clothes hooks instead of a wardrobe and partucularly liked the shutter blinds. Not so impressed with the very dim lighting in the bathroom. Impossible for make up and hair! Noise from the Slug and Lettuce until 1.30 a.m. could be a problem to people who go to...

Super friendly staff, great location. Breakfast is brilliant and individual cooked for you. Highly compliment Joseph on being helpful. Right across the hotel you will find a covered food market. For our next visit will stay here again.

So nice and friendly. We wanted a place that was reasonably priced close to Bristol center. Great staff and the place has a fun unique character! Plus, breakfast was delicious and entertaining. Only downside is that there wasn't any parking onsite; you have to park in a close parking garage. Still highly recommended! We will be returning.
