We dined here as part of a reunion celebration, with some 40/50 others in a private room. We felt so sorry for the organiser, who was badly let down by the hotel. The meal was simply not good enough for a professional establishment. Ham hock terrine was tasteless and mainly jelly. Beef bourguignon was poured over a mountain of mashed... More

Great hotel, location is perfect. The hotel is clean, quirky, cosy and yet very modern. All I would say is that if you would like a room overlooking the river you need to ask for this when booking, I expect they are more expensive. Overall a great stay and will definitely go back.

The Mercure Bristol Brigstow is excellently located in the heart of Bristol making it an ideal base whether you're on a business or leisure trip. Located on the waterfront and with many restaurants and bars within easy reach, you'd struggle to find a better placed hotel in the city. The hotel itself is of good standard, with a smart lobby... Great waterfront location in the heart of the city. Many pubs and restaurants are close by, as are theatres and museums. Comfortable hotel, and securing a waterside room is well worthwhile. Didn't take dinner in the hotel but the buffet breakfast is OK. Parking in the adjacent NCP is very cramped and pricy.

Stayed here again while in Bristol on business, and this time also made use of the Brigstow's meeting / conference facilities. This is a really nice, comfortable hotel with good service and facilities on offer. I was fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the river, which I would recommend requesting. The meeting room was well equipped and comfortable and... More
