Was such a welcoming experience from making the reservation on the phone and through out the stay! We came for and interview in the area and had such a peaceful stay in a quiet area with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of options for breakfast and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. One thing to note is that...

Lovely experience staying at Downland House whilst daily visiting Southmead Hospital. Relaxing and friendly owners and family with a Loveable Molly dog! Made me feel better after being with my 90year old Dad in the incredible Trauma unit at SouthMead. Used buses and taxis, everywhere reasonably close , good eating at pub opposite the great little cinema just up the...

My sister is using Downlands regularly to visit her son who is in halls nearby while at University. I stayed too this weekend. Lovely b&b, my bed was so comfy I almost missed my breakfast and that would have been a real shame. Good clean B&B with everything you could want if you want to stay in this part of...

I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Bristol and this has so far been the best for being reasonably priced. friendly, clean, quiet, comfortable and homely. I had an amazingly comfy bed and pillows, the choice of blankets, rather than a duvet, and my dietary needs were catered for at breakfast. There was no loud music to keep...

Despite being asked what time we would arrive - we said 4pm - when we arrived the heating had only just been put on. It was a bitter cold day and the rooms were freezing! We were told it would soon heat up, but it didn't get much better. I hardly slept because I was so cold. There were adequate...

We had stayed in this B@B when the previous owners had it, but I remembered it was very cold so we did not return even though our family lives in the same road and it was convenient. But we were told that the new owners(Nick & Pat) are very nice, and they really were so welcoming and friendly. We had...

Downlands house in henleaze is a super great value B&B . The breakfast is excellent, the hospitality is fantastic and the rooms very comfortable. There are nine rooms all I believe with en-suite , the style is classic and tasteful. The place is spotless and warm with great showers.

We loved this beautiful little guesthouse. Our room was light and airy with a comfortable bed, coffee and tea in the room and a full English breakfast served in a glass sunroom or the garden if the weather is good. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the location was very good with easy access to bus routes to downtown,...
