I stayed in this hostel for over three weeks and had a very good stay. Good points: Very central, good showers, piano available, good people, friendly staff who tries their hardest to keep a big place in order, free hot chocolate! Bad points: Place needs refurbishement, but having said that it's the cheapest hostel in town so I guess that's...

I would never stay here or advise it to anyone. It had no lockers, very unclean, stained yellow bedsheets and it smelt of rotting cheese. I would really not stay here, ever. The staff were nice but we really just had to go.

The hostel was great for the price and had an extremely convenient location to explore the city. They were very helpful with sending an item that I left behind to my location. The hostel doesn't have an elevator so a lower floor level would be recommended if you stay there.

It is nice place. All people are friendly and after some time you starting to feel like home. The location is in very good place - city center and it is the biggest plus. Of course rooms are with old furniture and walls really need painting, need some renovation.

It's very central but that's as good as it gets. The place is really run down and quite shabby. I found the staff and people pleasant enough but it felt more like a halfway house rather than a hostel. If your going to spend that kind of money you could do way better. I wish I read the reviews before...

Most people live at this hostel long-term. If you need somewhere to stay short-term (1 month) whilst looking for somewhere else to live, it'll be fine. If you're in Bristol for a holiday, definitely not. The staff do a good job of keeping it clean, however it is an old building and it's full of mould. The staff do a...

I booked in with a few friends to stay at this hostel. On first observation the place looked unclean, there was mould all over the walls, there was mess about the floors and shelving areas. My friend had been advised that we would all be in the same room together but on arrival had been told that one of us...

If you want really the cheapest place to stay in Bristol, choose this place. But even the cheapest places should be clean. I can't say this is the case for this hostel. They are obviously doing the basic daily cleaning but in some bathrooms you will find too many molds for my taste. Using inexpensive dehumidifier would get rid of...

This hostel is really just grim. Everything was dirty - except for the showers and the building looks shabby - in and out. The only positive, really, is that it's in the city centre. Otherwise it was loud, unsupervised, the people were rude and management was slow and ineffective at solving issues. Even had one guy being loud and drunk...
