Booked for one night while visiting a friend in Bristol. Lovely old building, friendly receptionists and the all important free wifi. Parking available at the front of the hotel with plenty of spaces available. Made aware before arriving that the restaurant would not be available due to a function, but that wasn't an issue as we where eating out. Late...

Nice small hotel with parking. The interior is clean and welcoming - our room was spacious. There was a hair drier which is always a bonus! We enjoyed our breakfast which had good choices. Lovely garden. Was located near a fairly busy road. The light is on a sensor in the bathroom which meant we were left in the dark...

Nice Hotel but location is near a fairly busy road. There was enough parking when we visited, but not sure it would be easy in the Summer months. Clean and tidy with nice large room. Bathroom clean and had liquid soap and hair/body shampoo provided. Also a hairdryer. Light went off a few times in bathroom though as it must...

Had stayed at this hotel last year for the first time, enjoyed it then. When I walked in the door on day one, the receptionist remembered me from last year. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the meals were top rate. One couldn't ask for more. There is a public swimming pool just around the corner (2 mins walk) and the...

This is a great hotel. Food is superb and rooms excellent. I've stayed here several times for work and each time has been consistently excellent. Wifi connection is strong allowing me to work in the lounge whilst enjoying the local beer. Excellent value for money

My daughter got married on the 14 March 2015 and she chose the Henbury Lodge for family and friends to stay in. From start to finish of our stay, the staff couldn't do enough for us without exception! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to feel looked after and special! A...

I stayed in the stable block. It was clean, and the bed was really comfy. If you're tall you might struggle - at 5'8" my feet touched the end! It was lovely to be welcomed 'back' after a visit earlier in the year. Part of the character of the place. Definitely eat in the restaurant. It has a comprehensive wine...

Stayed here over night prior to joining a cruise ship at Avonmouth. Booking and finding the hotel was easy, however note that the kitchen is not manned on Sunday Night, but good sandwiches and soup were available. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast good quality and quantity. Hotel is a period house, with modern facilities in the rooms. We...
