The rooms are good, small double was fine. The conversion of the annexe is new but badly built. The walls are paper thin. The mattress was very hard, it seemed as if it might have been an economy , hoping it would last. It is not acceptable to pay over £80 when there these faults.

We stayed for one night and had a basement room which I must say is ready for that overhaul. Bathroom in particular. However the staff were so helpful and a great breakfast. For us the location was just right.

Had a room downstairs in the building adjacent to the main hotel. Upon entering the room it was like a sauna. No controls or radiator evident to turn off. Had to sleep with the window wide open, which was worrying as we were at garden level. The mattress was awful - should have been thrown away years ago. The shower...

Stayed for two nights at this hotel last week with my daughter. it was very clean & comfortable. Our room was at the front of the hotel & it was quite noisy on Friday night. The reception staff were very pleasant & helpful. We chose not to eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food. My only...

Excellent hotel with homely feel about it - i was business travelling and it was super for me and i would have no hesitation in using it again. Onsite parking was good and only £5 for the night so this hotel ticked a lot of boxes for me.

I arrived mid evening at the Victoria Square Hotel and was upgraded to a very nice large double room on the first floor of the main hotel. I ate in the recently opened Italian themed bistro. The choice is very limited. Plenty of pizza options but because of diet I opted for one of the three pasta dishes and it...

A pleasant clean well run hotel. Situated in Clifton well positioned for Bristol Ashton Gate stadium 15 mins by car. With a good selection of Reasturaunt in the area. We had a large airy room with good ensuite. A good full English breakfast with very helpful staff. It has a small car park first come but you can park in...

The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was large and clean, the Italian evening bistro was really excellent. However, although I was upgraded to a larger room on arrival, I was put underneath the restaurant, and was woken in the early hours of the morning, I assume by staff preparing for breakfast? So not a great nights sleep, but...

It was the third time in this hotel. I slept in the second building (not with the reception) and it was a mistake - see a few pictures. Additionally I was woke up by the workers who were renovated the front of the building (see the picture). Wi-Fi was interrupted every minute. I am afraid it was the last time.

Well situated for the city and other locations and fairly quiet for a central location. Friendly staff and good service! with well laid out rooms. I could have done with softer pillows but I am sure if I had of asked these could have been changed. The showerhead in room 206 could do with tightening up but that's being picky!...
