We returned to the Wellington for a second year running for our annual friends Christmas get-together, fondly known as "Bristmas at the Welly". After last year's success, you didn't disappoint in the slightest.  We love taking over the back corner of the pub for the adults and children to mingle and unwrap presents. The playground out the back makes it ideal for...

A great place. It is a pub with the rooms above. There was no noise from the bar in our room which was nice. The food was absolutely amazing. Big portions and very affordable. The staff were also very accommodating and made sure that we were happy at all times during our stay. I would recommend this is anyone and...

Bar and restaurant areas are very nice with a pleasant atmosphere for drinking and eating . I had dinner and breakfast which I found both to be very tasteful and reasonably priced. Staff throughout my stay were friendly and attentive so why only three out of five you ask , well I had room 5 at the front of the...

We have visited many times and always make a point of it when we are in the area. This place has grown in more than just size over the years. The atmosphere is great, food top notch and staff always amazing even when they are under huge pressure. It can get so busy, especially on match days of course, but...

Went for lunch yesterday as large family group and the place was buzzing. Not a spare seat in the building. Quick and efficient service and great food. Huge Yorkshire pudding, rich tasty gravy and great choice of meats available. We will be back soon

I stayed here as an overnight stop on business I was a little apprehensive as we normally book Premier Inn Not any more whilst in Bristol. Bedroom was clean bathroom spotless and the shower was a dream really large and roomy. Food and beer on site, excellent choice on the Beers, and the meal I ordered was extremely good

Just spent an evening at the Welly. The staff were really friendly and the layout was great. Both the food and drinks were great and at a reasonable price. If you can get one of the snug areas even better Definitely will go back.

Arrived at the Wellington after a very busy day and was greeted by very friendly staff. Shown to Room 1 and it was lovely. Its difficult to find things wrong with hotels nowadays as good hotels have upped their game. Sockets by the bedside so the alarm on the mobile phone can be set and on charge. My evening meal...
