We have now held three one-day workshops at Emmaus House and this venue has proved to be a real gold mine. Our events are for social workers whose evaluations are particularly praising of the wonderful hot meals that are provided, including sometimes hot puddings! A few of us were going to a conference in nearby Clifton Cathedral so decided to stay the night before at Emmaus House. Easy to find from Clifton Village, efficient booking in and good en-suite room. Spotlessly clean as is the rest of the house. We went out for the evening and were able to get back into the house...

Emmaus is perched on the edge of Clifton with great views out over the docks and the city. It is yards from the lively village of Clifton with its many shops and restaurants and the historic Clifton Suspension bridge is only a few minutes walk away.
