Detached house in a quiet side street (and with off road parking) and exactly 20minute walk down Castle Hill (the only hill in Cambridgeshire?) to the Quay, River Cam and god selection of restaurants. We had a good sized bedroom with a compact en-suite overlooking the garden, so it was nice to wake up to birdsong. Small TV but not... More

Canterbury house is well located for visits to all the hill colleges - but also for visits to the city center (a 15-minute walk to the old parts of Cambridge). It is located in a residential area, silent because there is not a lot of traffic - which is great. The rooms are well kept, the proprietor keeps everything neat... More

The guest house is in a quiet residential area in west Cambridge, 15 minutes walking to the city center. Nicely sized, comfortable rooms, very clean and organized. Some rooms look over the garden, some over the street (the street ones have a lot of morning sun). Nice bed and towels. The owner (Steve) is kind, helpful and very attentive. The... More

Just a few minutes' walk from the north buildings of Cambridge campus, a small, clean house with a few rooms. Very quiet and pretty residential area. Room was very well appointed for the price, has wifi, a common living room, hot cooked breakfast. You must go up steps to the room (no lift.) You can get a cab there from... More

Stayed here overnight after a wedding: nice short walk from Registry Office, spotlessly clean, quiet, good breakfast, not a huge room but everything you want. And at £70 for 2 people a real bargain, I thought. would definitely go again.

Spotless room. Reasonable Price. Short(ish!) walk from centre. Very friendly owner. Decent breakfast. Quiet location (apart from floorboards, but whose house is perfect?!). Would stay again but must remember to limber up before tackling Castle Hill every day!!

Very clean and quiet. It's on a very quiet street just off the main road. The walk from the Canterbury to Trinity College took about 12 minutes at a fairly brisk walking pace. My single room was small but just right for my needs. The proprietor, Steve, was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and the room... More

Needed somewhere last minute. This place is plain but spotlessly clean, everything you could expect from a B&B. On the down-side the curtains are thin, so if light bothers you take an eye mask, and I found the traffic noise (or something - couldn't quite work out what it was) intrusive; and having moved rooms on the last night and... I was looking for a nice bed & breakfast near my college (Murray Edwards) for my mom and my sister for a few days. After checking the B&Bs and Hotels in the city center I found this amazing place. First of all it is not directly at Huntingdon road, so rather quiet, compared to e.g. Benson House. Second the rooms... More
