Stayed 2 days at this hotel with friends, the rooms were very comfortable and the lounge/bar area was very nicely furnished, the conservatory was an added bonus and we had our evening meal in there. The menu choices were very good and the food was excellent, the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The reception was...

We stayed here overnight whilst visiting family and the big plus for this hotel is that it has a good-sized car park and is within easy walking distance to the town centre. Lovely views across the green. The room was very nice, very clean though some parts of the bathroom and the doors in the corridors were looking a little...

On walking in to the hotel I could smell good/musky spell. Possible the dated decor mixed with the Resturant food. We was able to check in early, though when was a great help and the reception was really helpful explaining where we could walk to/eat etc. We paid extra for a deluxe room...hate to think what standard was like. Thankfully...

We spent three nights here last week. The accommodation was fine and the location is great. If you are paying for breakfast, pay an extra couple of pounds for the full English. It's not up to an Ulster Fry, but then again, what is! It's clean and warm, with a pleasant staff and warm atmosphere. The biggest problem is noise,...

looked for a hotel in cambridge that was reasonable value but not cheap as we were going to a concert. This popped up for many reasons, cost, location (it was just up the road to the venue) We were given a room in the stable block. We found it quite noisy as the walls were thin and it was a...

I usually stay at the much fairer priced Ashley but wanted somewhere with good access to Cambridge which the Arundel has. That's about all that can be said for it. 135GBP per night. I had a room in the bay windows at the front. Single windows so lots of traffic noise and spotlights shining in. The bathroom was awful. It's...

I have been very pleased with this hotel in the past. This visit disappointing despite lovely dinner and helpful bar staff. Room 309 was smelly (drains) v. small room and small bed. TV ludicrously positioned. Poor breakfast service and poor coffee. V. expensive for such a mediocre experience.

I have stayed at this Hotel many times before and it is located near Jesus green and alongside the river, just a short walk into town. As the years go by the Hotel is getting a little tired and although it did not bother me too much the standard of room cleaning was not great. The restaurant is good and...

The best things about this hotel are the excellent location and parking being included. Rooms are a bit dated with a few knocks around the edges but basically fine. Continental breakfast had a reasonable selection of items.

We've just returned from an overnight stay in this hotel and I doubt that we would return. The reception staff were really pleasant, and the breakfast (I had continental) was good enough with a variety of cereals, juices, and breads. There was also melon and orange pieces, and again pleasant staff. However, I felt our room at the top of...
