My sister and I booked a room at the Sorrento as we were visiting a patient at the Addenbrookes hospital. We were both upgraded to a double (we booked a single each) as it was not busy. We had requested quiet rooms not on the road and this is what we got - they were quiet. Staff really friendly and...

Honestly when we arrived, there was building work outside and perhaps not in the best part of town; but that was soon dispersed by the very warm welcome we received and the manner in which they were willing to help us in enjoying the stay and the area. No excuses were made for very minor shortcomings and which were explained...

I was for a few hours in Cambridge.. stayed here. Room was small as almost in all Europe. Room was clean, bed comfortable, with the basics; coffee maker, small TV. Bathroom ok with hot water; very important with this weather. The lady at the desk, friendly.. the sir not so much. For a few hours.. was ok

I went for a Christmas party just for food. The car park is quite small and can get full very easily. The dining area is also quite small but cosy. The meal itself was very good, hot and fresh and well cooked. My only slight grumble was the length of time my dessert took to come compared with everyone else...

Booked ahead to stay here at almost £200 a night for a double room. When I was offered an alternative nearer to where I wanted to be, I discovered that I would be charged full room rate for cancellation a week early. Having said that, when we arrived they were very efficient and friendly, and booked a taxi for us...

The single room was spacious and quiet, a bit old fashioned. However the bathroom was the width of the toilet with shower at far end and small basin on wall between. Difficult to move around in. The roomsafe situated at the bottom of the wardrobe required a torch to see and hands and knees to operate. Never managed to get...

This is a nice, friendly hotel which is ideal for a short leisure stay in Cambridge. It was comfortable, clean and had all of the usual facilities which one would expect. It is relatively good value compared with other hotels in the area. The hotel is reasonably well located. The city centre is a 30-minute walk away or around £5...

I found the Hotel difficult to find for some reason my GPS directions from both TomTom and iPhone took me to number 403 rather than 196 – the other end of the road when I put in the address. The bed and other furniture was so close to the window that it was fiddly to open and close the curtains....

We travelled to Cambridge to stay three nights for the Folk Festival. This hotel is within walking distance and therefore ideally located and also easy public transport access into Cambridge. The breakfast was cooked fresh and there was also a small continental selection for guests to choose. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. The car park is small...

We stayed there for two nights for my son's graduation at Cambridge University. There was a mixup with our room (as we required wheelchair access), which the staff did their best to rectify. The staff and management are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are lovely with a wide choice. The rooms are clean with an ensuite. I would stay there...
