Great little B&B located a short bike ride from the city center. They have an amazing breakfast set up and are very friendly hosts. The fresh cookies, placed in the room daily, are absolutely delicious.

Stayed here for the Bank Holiday weekend and it was perfect. Christine went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect. The breakfast prepared was delicious, especially the home baked bread. Thank you. The location was ideal. A lovely walk along the canals into Cambridge was wonderful. A definite, if you want to discover Cambridge.

Would highly recommend this immaculate B and B. Situated within easy walking distance of town centre and with free on street parking almost on the doorstep. Christine is friendly and welcoming and obviously knows Cambridge well with many of her recommendations enhancing our stay. Breakfast was excellent, prepared with top quality local produce and plenty of choice. Excellent attention to...

After 35 miles on the bike trail we were welcomed with amazing home-made scones baked by proprietor Christine accompanied by classic clotted cream and homemade marmalade. The 3 well appointed guest rooms in a 200+ year old house have been well modernized and include fully equipped en suite bathrooms complete with the quintessential English towel warmers. The double bed in...

Thank you for your delightful review and your very generous praise of my baking skills. Just to clarify, I am afraid that there is only one room with a super-kingsize double bed (that also separates to twin beds). The room neighbouring yours is very slightly larger but an odd shape so one does not really notice the extra space. The...

The nature of B&B has changed radically in recent years, and those that thrive in the market have none of the hit-and-miss idiosyncrasies of yesterday. 5, Chapel Street manages at once to retain a homely charm while ensuring that quality is of the highest. Our room was fairly small (we were forewarned, they're often booked out) but wanted for nothing,...

We honestly don't know what to add that hasn't already been said (and which we agree with totally), but I will try! In addition to these positive comments, we would add that Christine promptly responded to enquiries both before our arrival and during our stay. She accommodated a special request generously and suggested excursion recommendations that suited us very well....

I'm sat here at breakfast writing a review for our fantastic time here in Cambridge. Christine is a fabulous hostess and the cottage is perfect. We have stayed in no1 room with the beds making a superking, the room is extremely comfortable and the bath is lovely and relaxing. The walk into town is lovely along the cam and we...

We stayed 2 nights at 5 Chapel street B & B & it was just perfect ! An easy walk along the river & park to the centre of Cambridge. Parking not a problem, our room although small was spotless & the bed & bedding were high quality. Great shower, attention has been given to provide guests with the best...

I am very glad you liked your stay. As you say, the small rooms have a fantastic powerful shower but not a great deal of space. The larger room has a lovely freestanding bath and significantly more space in the bedroom. It can be made up with either two twin beds or a super-kingsize double. I hope you may be...

5 Chapel Street is a B&B with heaps of charm. It's a very attractive old house in a peaceful location near the river. My bedroom was lovely, with a terrifically comfortable bed; the bathroom was spotless and had an excellent shower. Christine is a kind and thoughtful host, and has admirable attention to detail. I had home-made cereal and freshly...
