We stayed for a short break in Cambridge at the end of October, just three nights at the lovely Warkworth House, it is located very close to the centre, but also situated near parks and open spaces. It was just so lovely and friendly we wished we were able to stay longer. The accommodation couldn't be bettered; we had a... More

Good location for both walking into Cambridge and picking up buses. Sightseeing tour stop at the end of the road. Large room, well equipped, bed was a little hard for us but that is personal preference. Our room was on the ground floor and near the entrance so we were disturbed a little by guests coming in and out. The... More

Loved our spacious bedroom, including ensuite with bath & shower. Location is convenient for city centre and rail station but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Warm welcome and delicious veggie breakfast. Excellent service and good value.

We stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent; on several bus lines, about a 20-minute walk to the colleges, and a few blocks from plenty of good, mostly ethnic restaurants (we liked Bedouin and Lagona). Our top-floor room was large with comfortable beds and a deluxe bath. Owner Kathleen was very accommodating, and breakfasts... More

Our Hostess, Mrs Collins, was very pleasant and helpful after we initially mis-booked on line. The bedroom was very large with a superb bed and the bathroom was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and the locally-sourced bacon, sausages and eggs were delicious. Parking permits are available if you come by car. There are several nice pubs just... I recently visited Cambridge and spent one night at Warkworth House. It is very well located, the owners and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room and bathroom spotless and the breakfast freshly cooked and delicious. I would recommend it wholeheartedly and will certainly return next time I go to Cambridge.

Top notch character accommodation, roomy with modern fittings. Comfortably walkable to town, but also some good handy dining options, specifically the local pubs. Breakfast certainly set a tasty foundation for the day. Friendly staff prepared to go the extra mile (or two).

This bed and breakfast was beautifully presented, and we received a very warm welcome, with the owners going out of their way to find room for us to store our suitcases as we arrived several hours before check in time. The family room was lovely and the breakfast was generous and delicious.

My husband and I stayed at Warkworth house last September and I'm remiss in not posting this sooner because our stay could not have been more appreciated and the owner/hostess made such a difference in the way our trip began. We will never forget the kind helpfulness from Mrs. Collins when arriving after a long flight from the U.S. and... More
