I have found my new favourite place in the world. A friend recommended Sark and said very clearly that if in Sark I must stay with Elizabeth at La Sablonnerie. She was so confident, she booked a weekend break at a time we both needed a rest from the stresses of daily work life. We arrived on sat 29 April...

We stopped by for lunch on a day trip from Jersey. This place is one in a million. The garden is full of stunning flowers and offers a peaceful place to rest and enjoy Sark's sunshine. Inside, the bar is cosy and has that wonderful old fashioned fireside smell. The staff are extremely attentive and the charismatic Lady owner buzzes...

Had to make a review about this wonderful little gem which is a definite must when you visit little Sark. We spent a few hours with friends visiting over Easter and had a beautiful lunch in the tea garden....delicious seafood, cold meats, salads and indulgent cakes and the famous Sark cream tea were all truly scrumptious !!!! The gardens were...

We were too early in the season for the restaurant to be open and so we booked into the tea garden. The weather was perfect. Clear blue skies and a little light breeze. We ate simply. 3 x lobster and one rib eye steak sandwich. The rib eye was not the normal fayre. It was a thicker and beautifully cooked...

After a fantastic Seafari RIB to Sark and cycling around the island lunch was pre- booked at La Sablonnerie. When we arrived a table for 12 of us was waiting . After ordering drinks we waited for our meals to arrive. After a while 7 of us received our meals. The remaining 5 didn't turn up. At this point it...

It seems there are places left to treasure in the world. We had a nice trip to Little Sark and were not disappointed by the fantastic service available at La Sablonnerie. Elizabeth is a fantastic host! The meals were prepared to finest quality and we could not have expected more! It is a shame we had to leave the following...

The only way to get to La Sablonnerie is to walk or take a horse drawn carriage but it is worth it. The food is excellent as is the setting. We've been going there for 10 years and always had a great experience.
