We have just returned home after three days b&b at bowman lodge In chester and me, my wife and two girls were all impressed with the family room and breakfast . A great base for the shops and Zoo and a great pub over the road the Oaklands.

Lovely little b&b, we came for August bank holiday weekend. And what a lovely place it is, the pictures uv seen online don't do the place justice. Within walking distance of pubs/bars and shops and a short taxi or a nice walk to city centre. Very nice service and breakfast and a place I'd use again

We stayed here for 2 nights, a great family run guest house, very clean and friendly. Well situated on Hoole rd, close to local bars and restaurants ( check out the Sticky Walnut). And just a short walk or taxi ride to the city centre. A good breakfast in the morning awaits for those with hearty appetites or grim hangovers. We...

Very basic B&B with no frills. Tight parking if you could even get in the lot. Could not get ice and no lounge type room to have a drink in - just the breakfast room The price was the same as it was for much nicer B&B's.

We've stayed in loads of hotels and guest houses over the past few years so kind of know what to expect. I don't like to say bad things (especially about a guest house) but we paid £80- for 1 night. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with a good selection and friendly service but sadly that's...

A lovely old Victorian house approximately 10 minute walk to town. We had a room for four with plenty of space and bath. The breakfast was good and met some great people at the meal. Parking is very tight. Actually only room for two cars in the front of the house. There is parking on the side of the road...

Well located and excellent value for money. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts who added value to my experience in Chester and area. A lovely old Victorian character home with good amenities. A very enjoyable 5 days stay while viewing The Open. Very good value for money.

Bowman Lodge is located between the A56 and Chester city centre, on a road with a lot of BnB. It is a very nice place, my only two comments are that the parking is tiny (but cars can be left on the side of the road) and I have had some trouble getting the shower to work (you need to...

This place is an absolute gem. Before I left home I rang to say I would be late checking in - the very polite owners ensured me this wasn't a problem and they kindly left a key out for me. On arrival the place felt very homely and cosy. Although not modern decor it was totally functional and didn't affect...

Ten minute walk from the railway station, Bowman Lodge is located on a busy main road in a pleasant residential area. My room was clean and functional. The bathroom was for my use only but it was across a hallway. The proprietor was friendly and breakfast was available if required. Bowman Lodge is a good value B&B.

Thank Richard H
