Ten minute walk from the railway station, Bowman Lodge is located on a busy main road in a pleasant residential area. My room was clean and functional. The bathroom was for my use only but it was across a hallway. The proprietor was friendly and breakfast was available if required. Bowman Lodge is a good value B&B.

This is the second time my wife and I have visited Bowman Lodge and this time our room was bigger than the room we had last time and we were even more impressed. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by Mike the owner who showed us to our room even though we were rather early. As the...

This was a brilliant find. Very reasonable rates. Both owners were very friendly and helpful. Short walk into town. Information on restaurants and taxis made available in rooms. Rooms were really nice. Comfortable bed and lovely shower. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you. Simon & Rachel

Me and the wife spent 2 nights here , we arrived early and was able to check in straight away. The owner told us all about Chester and where was good to eat and drink. We were on the bottom floor of the lodge our room was basic with en suite and tea and coffee making facilities and was clean....

All round good experience, I stayed in a single room with private bathroom on the first floor. The owners were extremely helpful and let you get on with your stay without interfering too much. This B&B was booked last minute as I need a place to get my head down over night and I was extremely pleased.

I stayed in the single room with private external bathroom on the top floor. It was small but acceptable and had a sink within the room, tea / coffee making facilities, and a TV. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean with reasonably modern decor, but the hallway had a slightly dusty faded feel to it. The location is in...

Owners extremely friendly & helpful. Good location for walking to Chester. Did not have breakfast but it smelled lovely. Room was basic and small. No blackout curtains & very noisy when anyone was moving about the house. Light sleepers might need to bear this in mind. Overall the room we stayed in could do with updating.

I had an excellent stay here for a weekend break in Chester, the owner Mike was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us with information on local attractions to visit and places to eat. The room itself was clean and quite spacious especially considering the price. The cooked breakfast was brilliant on both mornings also. Would definitely recommend...

I had struggled to find places where my whole family could spend the night for a reasonable price, so I was happy to find the Bowman Lodge. I'll admit I thought the rooms looked quite dated in the photos, but they were much better in person. The rooms were pleasant and clean, and our family room had loads of space...

I stayed at the Bowman lodge whilst on a recent stag weekend. When I arrived Mike the owner greeted me and was very pleasant and helpful. My room was a small single room on the top floor which although small was more than adequate for one bloke on his own. The room was very nicely decorated with a nice size...
