Spent a 2 night weekend stay with husband and son in Holly Cottage (annexe). We arrived early but were able to leave our car there whilst the annexe was being cleaned so went for a walk into town for some breakfast. We enjoyed home made scones on our return to unpack. Only fault I could pick with the Cottage was... More

A very welcoming and homely place to stay, from Marina helping to carry our bags from the car to the delicious breakfast, it was an enjoyable stay. The small touches like the tray of scones and tea on arrival, the fresh flowers and the Marks and Spencers toiletries made all the difference. Only negative is that maybe the houseplant in... More

We stayed three nights in this guest house. The room was small, but clean. Shower was in the hallway, but only for our use. Breakfast was excellent (unfortunately not after 09.00 a.m even on Saturday and Sunday). Walking distance to city center. Nice pub across the street.

It was easy to find and a good location, just a short walk into the centre. The service is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are good but a little on the small side.

The personal welcome, together with the teas/coffees and buttered scones, was an immediate hit. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was perfect (no grease) and we felt completely at home surrounded by friendly and smiling staff . A most enjoyable three night stay.

We experienced excellent service from start to finish, there were lots of personal touches added to ensure your stay was more comfortable. The location could not have been better for visiting Chester which was 10-15 minute walk away, the station less than 10 minutes for visiting Liverpool close by. A short drive to the North Wales coast. The breakfast was... More
