I stayed here in June 2011,amazing double bed but the rest of the hotel was rather run down, the carpets were worn and so was the decor.Would probably stay again as it was cheap enough but hope its had work.

Stayed here for one night as was attending graduation early morning. Hotel offers Spacious rooms, that are clean and tidy. Hotel is dated but then this is reflected in the price. Good Location in order to get to Chester centre, brisk walk takes around 25-30 minutes, 5 Minutes by Taxi we paid £4. Staff were friendly upon arrival and free...

We stAyed here for one night and only wanted to use it as a base whilst in chester. When we arrived, we were half an hour after check in but out room wasn't ready. The very nice girl checked if our room was ready and told us it would be 5 minutes, and indeed this is only as long as...

My husband and I used The Comfort Inn for a one night stop over last week .Having read some reviews before hand I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived .Yes you could probably complain that the decore is a bit drab and a mite old fashioned ,but this is not a boutique hotel .There was a little dust in the...

We booked this hotel a while ago, cheap and cheerfu we thought. then the reviews started....doom and gloom set in thinking what had we let ourselves in for? In the end we thought, well, we are only going to be sleeping there how bad could it be. Resigned to the fact it was going to be awful we were pleasantly...

Checked this site after we'd booked and we were horrified!! On arrival we asked to see the room first. We stayed in room 107 and although it needs a good updating we felt it was a fair room for a fair price. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. It is not a plush hotel but you gets what you...

I can deal with the lack of wifi (despite it being advertised). I can deal with the slightly musty smell, it is a budget hotel after all! What I cannot deal with is killing the 20-30 mosquitos that occupied my room before I got into it or the fact that it absolutely reeks of smoke. The carpets are frayed, the...

Stayed here for one night for a hen do. Room was in need of serious renovation. Filthy tiles in the bathroom, tiny room, wardrobe smelled very musty, old itchy blanket on the bed, lime scale in the kettle. You get the picture! It's not an ideal walk to the city either we got taxis. Avoid room 201

We ended up booking rooms in the Comfort Inn after a few glasses of wine on a Saturday afternoon with friends. We soon regretted it when we later checked Trip Advisor for reviews of this hotel. We had paid an upfront fee which was cheaper but meant there would be not refund if we were to cancel... ops! After counting...
