Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night. Just beautiful. Our room was a family room, which had so much space with a second bedroom! The renovated bathroom was superb! We had dinner downstairs, after a stroll around the beautiful Christmas markets. Breakfast was very enjoyable also. A very comfortable stay in beautiful English hotel. Will stay there again!

Fantastic comfortable room and a lovely breakfast I would definitely stay here again. The bed was very comfortable with a lovely double shower en suite. Nice central location with a car park just behind which was a cheap price.

I had read about this pub before we went and had heard about the good ales. The pub boasts the only micro brewery within the Chester City Walls. It is in fact as I was told 14feet beneath the floor of the bar. The beers x3 that I sampled were full of flavour and really enjoyable. Our visit was a...

Had an excel time in the pied bull. Staying next door to a hunted room and it's own brewery. It catered for are meals and drinks. The pub is in the heart of the local theatre and central cester. Will go back again

Would highly recommend the Pied Bull for an overnight stay. Our room which was one of the luxury rooms was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful advising on what we should do with our time in Chester. Had a Sunday Roast tea in the evening which was delicious!

Nice room but overpriced for what it was at £125 per night room only. Poor internet connection and none at all in my room, No.4. Was shocked when checking out that after spending £250 for a room and a fortune over the bar that they charged me £1.95 for a cup of coffee in the morning!

I feel bad writing a poor review as the actual hotel is lovely and our room was nice (the executive suite room 16 with the blue white and silver theme sorry didn't take any pics but I can see others have on here) but for £93 a night the noise from the drunks outside was so loud it was impossible...

Great place to stay right in the centre of Chester with everything on your doorstep. The rooms were out of this world especially the premier room. Excellent food and a great place for beer lovers as had its own micro brewery. The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended.

Nothing much I can say except you have to visit - it's a pub (that's obvious) it does really good homemade food (ok so that's not normal but not unusual) but it's also a brewery now that is fantastic - if your in Chester you have to visit this place (and try the pie!)

This pub/hotel is way overpriced, noisy, the staff are not particularly helpful, the bar is lit like a floodlit football pitch, food terrible, tables sticky and the rooms not as depicted on the website! However, the position in the city is very good. Would not stay here again! This should be a charming 15th Century inn, but the shower room...
