Visited the Victoria Lodge in April 2012 on an overnight stay on a roadtrip through the UK. Fist lets start with the accommodations. They were clean, well kept and spacious. The hosts were charming, helpful, and friendly. And to top it off, the english breakfast was superb. Overall the price-value is great. Definitely consider it for a quick weekend getaway...

Really warm welcome with helpful tips and advice too. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable with nice touches.Breakfast was good with the added bonus of an Easter egg each(on Easter Sunday).A good 15 minute walk into Chester which we managed easily there and back. In the evening we got a taxi which was between 4 and 5 pounds. All in...

We have just returned from an overnight stay at the Victoria lodge hotel and cannot recommend this highly enough. From the moment we arrived until our departure nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms, cleanliness, food and most of all the owners made our stay a great one, we will certainly be returning. All the best to Richard and family...

Put simply, the welcome was enthusiastic, room a decent size with a ensuite which was bright and clean. Off street parking was an added bonus as Victoria Lodge is situated on a busy road, so if you want a quiet room, best request one at the rear of the house. Fantastic breakfast with wide range of fruit and cereals, followed...

Really warm welcome on arrival and helpful and considerate hosts. The room was excellent - clean, well decorated and a good size. The breakfast was excellent - generous portions of quality ingredients set us up for the day. A really good find in a convenient part of Chester. Will definitely use again.

We have stayed at quiet a few accommodation providers in Chester, particularly the Hoole area and we have to say that Victoria Lodge is probably the best. Right from the friendly greeting at the door, to the fantastic breakfast and our cheery goodbyes, we felt that we had finally found a place we can return to time and time again....

My girl and me were there in August. We spent a couple of days and we felt good attended and we saw a good service. Breakfast is good, and the place is comfortable. The hosts are kind people and I `d recomend to stay there, because it has the best relationship cost price.
