We stayed over 3 nights in October 2018. The staff were first class and the breakfasts were very good - £10 for full heart stopping cooked breakfast product or £5 for a lighter buffet style continental choice. But, the front of the hotel is noisy in the evening and at night - mai

"Check beforehand if there is a shower available in any of the rooms. If you want quality, stay somewhere else"
"Our top room was sweet but would try one of the other rooms next time just for a change of decor. Don't be put off by some uneven floorboards and landings on the stairwell. You have to consider the amazing age and history of the B&B. Its all part of the charm and character."
"There is also a lovely little cottage in the garden which is like something from a fairy-tale as well if you want something a little special."
"we stayed in the cottage in the garden it was lovely"
"we had the cottage in the garden very private would recommend this as you have the privacy you need and very quiet"
