This is a very welcoming and convenient guest house for central Chester. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a beautiful 4 poster bed and feather bedding. The staff were so helpful and friendly. A great choice of breakfast: fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal, cooked breakfast, toast, jams and fresh coffee. A cosy sitting room is available for guests to...

What a lovely delightful place to stay! Went for the Bank Holiday weekend and loved every minute of our stay. The hotel is just so lovely and in a perfect location down a little cobbled street with FREE parking! As it was built in the 1600 and is a listed building don't go expecting it to look like the Hilton...

We opted to walk from the railway station which took about 20 minutes but the hotel was easy to find. Chester is a lovely place and during our 3 night stay we...

Great little B & B, full of character just five minutes walk from the Town Hall and central square. Old building, beautifully maintained and well furnished. In my room there were even Wedgewood plates on the wall, and they were not screwed down! Mine had ensuite, safe, TV, trouser press and tea and coffee facilties. The door was quite low,...

We stayed here a single night in September, and wished we had more time. The B&B was very convenient to the cathedral and center of town, and to an excellent pub - always a plus, especially at the end of a long and stressful day traveling (we missed a connection, and getting from Chipping Campden to Chester ain't easy) followed...

“Our top room was sweet but would try one of the other rooms next time just for a change of decor. Don't be put off by some uneven floorboards and landings on the stairwell. You have to consider the amazing age and history of the B&B. Its all part of the charm and character.”
