was booked in last weekend, Landlady was exceptionally helpful and really really friendly, we were a party of 3 adults and 1 child and she just couldn't do enough for us, sad to hear that she be moving on soon ,place wouldn't be the same without her! Wonderful stay booked last minute on the day and glad we picked it, service was above and beyond. Room was clean no complaints from us at all :-) close to city centre. Breakfast was lovely and the manager could not have been more attentive

Stayed with my father in the twin room and window was broken - March, and was cold. Milk was gone off on the tea and coffee tray, rubbish was left in the bedside drawer from the last persons that stayed there was we discovered there was no bin in the room or bathroom? Old building and could here all movements...

Friendly welcome and good car park , but that's as good as it gets . No heating , couldn't sleep it was so cold ! Uncomfortable bed with flat pillows. Breakfast was half there - cereal but no milk , jam and butter but no bread , juice but no glass etc. etc., found another place near hand for the...

a very friendly welcome nothing was of trouble,plenty of parking area,breakfast self service at your time,nuffield hospital 5 minutes away which i wanted, ideal for chester centre we would recomend it.

stayed for 3 weeks [working local] room very comfortable and clean, i was in room 1, i did not bother with breakfast because of early start but toast and cereal where available if required,this is not a hotel but a guesthouse so for the price you will not in my opinion go far wrong,the area has a good selection of...

cannot agree with previous reviews ie, cash only, cold room, no inroom coffee, deposit your card, cash not necessary, turn up room thermastat, we had coffee tea in room which was clean and comfortable, just returned from a new years eve stay, following a murder mystery event there ,very professional staff and most helpful in every way, as previously stated...

Quite cheap accommodation in many ways- but I wasn't bothered since it was only a place to sleep and nothing else. You have to pay cash when staying here-so be aware of this. The owner was as others have mentioned very friendly and helpful faultless. There was no tea and coffee in the room- so take your own- there is...
