We loved this place. Warm welcome by the owner. The rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed with all the mod cons you could need. We had a beautiful cooked breakfast in the breakfast room with fresh fruit and cereals too if we wanted.

A good stop for visiting Chester, good road access, car parking and walking distance to town centre or busses for the town centre stop almost opposite. Ours was a good spacious room well equipped, the shower room looked very new. A truly great 'full english' breakfast. All with a nice friendly owner.

We were greeted warmly, parking was easy and we had help carrying our luggage upstairs. The three bed room was conveniently large with an ensuite, small, but adequate. Refreshments were provided. Breakfast was generous and varied which we enjoyed. Hostess was informative as to shopping and places of interest. Pleasant small garden - all in all we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for an extended weekend to experience Chester and its zoo. The owner greeted us with a warm welcome, kindly showed us to our room and made us feel quite at home. The fried breakfast was on point but was a little too big for my girlfriend, so I finished off the rest of hers too... More

Not easy to park in the rather limited area available, with a narrow entrance and other cars already occupying most of the space. The hostess was charming and showed us to our room at the front on the first floor. Unfortunately it had been one of the strange hot and muggy days in September and we needed to have the... More

Stayed at the Lavender Lodge after booking on line. Made to feel very welcome by Fredrika upon arrival and must say the room was very comfortable with lots of nice little touches. Very close to some nice bars, shops and restaurants or a 10 minute walk into Chester. We ate two nights at the Hollows in Faulkner Street which was... More

We were a little apprehensive on being shown into our room which faced the busy main road into Chester. However when the two windows were shut the double glazing really dulled the traffic noise . We had a triple room which was very clean and comfortable, a tad expensive for 2 but would have been excellent value for 3 at... More

I have been to Chester many times before but by a mile this has been the BEST B&B in Chester. You get a very nice welcome, very nice bedroom with a shower which are kept pristine clean. You also get tea & coffee facilities. Each and every morning you get a huge breakfast. You are about a mile from the... More

The parking is all at the front of the house and there are four parking bays. Reversing into a parking bay is much the best option, to allow for ease of exit. Drive into the property from Hoole Road, which is the A56 and is one of the main routes into Chester. It is very busy, so don't ever try... More

This was my second stay here, and I will certainly be back, if I visit Chester again. The rooms are elegantly furnished and spotlessly clean. Visitors are given every little luxury, such as filter coffee, hot chocolate and luxury cookies on the courtesy tray, a huge range of toiletry items in the bathroom, books to browse, good free wi-fi, and...
