Great breakfast, comfortable bed, decent shower, then it fell off a cliff, flaking paintwork, stained and unhoovered carpets, UHT milk that had gone off, light bulbs not working, general air of carelessness, please read other plentiful scathing reviews for further info......

We stayed for a couple of nights for a friend's birthday and had a lovely stay, however the room could do with some upkeep. Surfaces needed a good clean, there were marks on the furniture and the walls needed a good paint job. Beds were clean and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Best thing was the breakfast which...

It would have helped if I had taken time to read reviews before I had stayed as I may not have chosen to stay.. this place needs the hotel inspector to help them. My husband and I arrived and we were asked to pay up front, which is unusual but we agreed. It was quite pricey but we were expecting...

Visited this place on Friday evening with a group of friends, was my first time and If I'm honest it was the last time. If you're going to serve cocktails it's probably best you know how to make them. Customer services wasn't there strong point either to which I believe this was the manager, after waiting at least 20 minutes...

The Falmouth House was built in the 1930s for a merchant right along the quay, so he was close to the shipping. It is a comfortable four square building still with some of the original details. Our room was on the second floor back overlooking a beer garden. It was October, so the garden didn't get much use while we...

My trip advisor reviews normally vary between 4 and 5 stars, but not this one! From the moment we walked past the unkempt garden borders and empty beer kegs and entered the scruffy hallway I knew I should have turned around and looked elsewhere. I didn't but my suspicions proved correct. The room was painted dark blue on all surfaces...

I needed a room at short notice as my son who lives in Falmouth had been ill and I needed to come and see him. The things I want in a hotel are a clean room, a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and a good breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. The breakfast deserves a special mention as I do...

My husband and i recently spent a bank holiday weekend at the Falmouth Townhouse and i have to say we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Our room was lovely, very comfortable and spacious but slightly on the warm side, if booking again we would come prepared with our own fan. Their breakfast is amazing one of the best I've had anywhere...

What an awful place from the overgrown and blocked fire escape, the rotten windows, overgrown garden, the flakey painted floors, broken doors and fittings, non functioning lights and fittings. If it was £30 a night then you'd accept it but £85 I'd expect so much more. It was just dreadful.

Great location, lovely view of the marina. But, don't stay in the upper levels in the summer. There wasn't a fan in the room. The staff looked for a spare fan, but couldn't find one. So we were left to sleep in our sweat. Wifi doesn't work upstairs either, so use the common rooms downstairs if you need to get...
