A last minute decision to go away for a short break and all the sweeter for finding this lovely pub. A great place. The garden room was perfect, my dog loved staying here as much as I did! The breakfasts lived up to expectations, as did the pub evening meals. A lovely, friendly place with good attention to detail in...

We live in Falmouth, recently started driving and we thought we'd visit this well-known pub for dinner. We went as a family, me, my husband and our 5 year old, and the atmosphere was great. They have beautiful gardens outside the pub and it's really cosy inside. We all got 3 courses including drinks and it was under £70, bargain!...

The family lunch, eight adults and five children. Food was good and the portions were ample. The food off the board was brilliant and every one enjoyed their main course and the puddings were a real treat. Go again of course! Beer is excellent so is the cider. A great range of both.

I visited here for lunch on Easter Sunday with my parents. I decided to go for the homemade fishcakes which were lovely. The portion sizes were very decent and the food was all very well presented. All 3 of us enjoyed our lunches and I would definitely return. Isn't an easy place to find, so I am pleased I wasn't...

We stayed in one of the garden rooms for 3 nights with our two dogs. The pub allows dogs in all the rooms but the ones in the garden are great as they give direct access out into the very large grounds. It was nice to stay somewhere that didn't have lots of rules and regulations regarding the dogs as...

Don't be put off by the slightly "run down" entrance.....this pub is a winner (if you ever manage to find it!) There are signposts on various country roads.....some seem to be facing the wrong way! The pub is warm, cosy and the food is excellent. All the staff seem to go that little bit further to make you feel welcome....we...
