Situated overlooking the bay this hotel provides an excellent service . Staff throughout are courteous and look after all your needs . Bedrooms are nice and clean with all amenities . Whilst the hotel is currently having some building work undertaken this did not detract from our stay in anyway . Breakfast and dinner were very nice indeed . This...

The room was spacious and well equipped. All the staff were very helpful and the food was of an excellent quality. Unfortunately the main restaurant was out of use due to building works but we were informed it would be back in use by easter.

Stopped afternoon and overnight on business. Changed fron an inland room to sea view as had work to do (and looking out of window required!). Marked jump in proce, but I thought worth it. Warmly looked after everywhere in particular dining room. Always difficult to judge the pace correctly for a single traveller, and this they did. Pool is smallish,...

We stayed for a four nights and it was a most enjoyable experience. The moment we arrived the concierge was there to take our baggage to the room. Check in was quick and easy and the hotel facilities were clearly explained. The concierge took the time to give us a map of the town, pointed out the main attractions and...

This was our second visit and again we were upgraded to a sea facing room, with all the rooms on the top floor having been recently refurbished to a high standard. All the staff were extremely helpful and we felt that they were very happy in their work. Our meals were served in the terraced lounge, with sea views, due...

I arrived in the dark and although I didn't use the leisure facilities on site they looked great, my room was...

This was our second visit to The Royal Duchy Hotel. Our room was very good with a sea view. The bed and bedding was very comfortable, which is very important for us. Beautiful furnishings and plenty of drawers for clothes. The bathroom was very bright and spotlessly clean. The dinner and breakfast were perfect for us. Three courses but not...
