Hotel is in a lovely location, opposite Castle Beach and only about a 10 minute flat walk into town. On arrival the receptionist (Marie) asked us twice in about 30 seconds how our journey had been and had her back to us half the time she was speaking to us, which did not create a good first impression. Our room...

I will say the staff are lovely and really helpful. The hotel is a good location and views good but very dated and old looking once upstairs. The rooms are small and maybe worth upgrading. We were only one night and wouldn't want to stay any longer. I wouldn't return.

Room was upgraded to Executive. Smashing large room, very warm, good lighting, great bed, superb bathroom. We've tried to work out how this hotel is 3 star. I'd love to know why it's not 4 star. Quality of food was 5 star. Definitely fine dining. Good leisure facilities, nice pool. Good hotel grounds, great setting opposite beach. Still don't know...

I came to this particular hotel as a treat for a spa day with a friend, the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the therapists working that day (Sarelle and Kirsty) We both agreed that it was one of the best massages we'd ever had, the girls were really friendly and professional and definitely made us...

Came here for a meal a nights stay and breakfast. I was 1 of a party of 15 family members for a 60th wedding anniversary. The meal itself was as good as i expected i had a soup for starters followed by the nutroast and then a cheese board (can never go wrong with a cheese board). Unfortunatly there was...

Room was clean but dated, windows were flaking and needed a paint and the bathroom looked very 70's. A bottle of prosseco was very expensive at around £60?! whereas champagne was around £40, odd pricing I thought. A loud constant drilling hum started at around 7.30am which meant no lie in and the walls were so thin I heard everyone's...

From the warm welcome at the reception desk, the beautiful very clean comfortable room, the excellent pool and jacuzzi, the great breakfast. All in a charming Victorian hotel with great views. I could not find one fault with this hotel and highly recommend it. Obviously had a recent refurbishment to a high standard. Loved the little touches such as complimentary...

My wife and I visit 3/4 times a year and will continue to do so.In thinking about this years visit I was reminded of our trip from last summer when at times it was difficult to work out whether we were on a Summer holiday or a visit to Crufts.Whilst fully understanding the hotels need to maximise income and having...

We selected this location to be a base while we explored southern Cornwall. While the hotel gives the impression of its grand Victorian/Edwardian hey day it certainly struggles to live up to it. The hotel was clearly in the process of refurbishing some of its rooms, which they sorely need. Our room, while having sea views was small. The windows...

We have stayed at the Falmouth several times for various family functions. The views and position of hotel are great. However some of the rooms are a tad expensive for the size and some of the decor could do with updating.
