Dear Ken S, thank you for your lovely feedback. The team and I were chuffed to read that you feel we should be awarded the 4* hotel quality rating as we are currently working extremely hard on it. Your feedback has certainly confirmed that we are on track! Thank you for your encouraging words! We look forward to seeing you...

What a lovely stay in the hotel! Although our room was on the cosy side (and very warm), the hotel suited us perfectly! The staff were all so helpful and attentive - thanks to Josh for sorting out the shower promptly - and the breakfasts were superb! The service was great - special thanks to Lucio. Looking forward to coming...

we are big fans of this group of hotels and have stayed at the Fowey and Grand several times. Thought we would try this one to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything went really well, food was great, service lacked a bit and a few errors were made. Could be Uni staff working part time - not sure about that. Overall...

I booked a 4 night stay for our wedding anniversary in October 2015. I had to cancel because my wife had an accident before this. I re-booked for her birthday on Jan 2016 but was told that I would lose my deposit if did not keep this booking for a poor deal of 3 nights for the same price. We...

I don't know what it's like to stay here; we had a family meal in the bar, mostly sandwiches & dessert, no alcohol. I am quite happy to be called "mate" by staff down the pub but I don't expect it from uniformed staff in a hotel. It took a full 40 minutes for our order to arrive. Nobody was...

What a great place! The staff were helpful, we loved the spacious room and the food was fantastic. Fortunately for my wife and I the overnight stay was a gift. We really enjoyed the sea views and looking up at Pendennis Castle during our meal. Minor issues were a sizeable gap under the door and a sink plug stuck down....

I had booked a table for four to have a cream tea, requesting a sea view if possible, but was very disappointed with the servicce we received. We were greeted at reception and when we confirmed our booking were taken to the lounge bar and advised the staff there would take us to our table. After a ten minute wait...

the hotel staff wereso helpfull and happy with any question, and very knowledgable about the area. Food in the resaurant was first class for breakfast and evening meals. Now the room! tiny was not the word, and so in need of a complete refurbishment. The foil covering on the cupboards and drawers was peeling off and the carpet -- what...

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights: we asked for a room with 2 single beds and they gave us a double bed as they were so busy, so when we arrived they gave us a second room for free, which was wonderful!! Rooms are basic but well equipped, clean and bright. It's the communal places which are...
