This is a great palce to stay. Quick, pleasant walk to the town and even shorter to the beach. Clean, pleasant and interersting place to stay. The rooms are all actually owned by Teddy bears who let you share with them. Free car park, not too expensive so ideal for a few nights stop over. Breakfast was cooked lovely and...

Where to start, from the begining I think, when you arrive at this splendid hotel, you are greated warmly and friendly, checkin is a doddle and being shown to my room is something I haven't expierenced since being in the states, what a pleasent surprise. This hotel has bags of character and the owners have kept the period of the...

This is a B&B , why is it called a hotel as they only provide bed and breakfast. Interesting old house full of old pictures and very clean and tidy with large front room downstairs to use as a lounge. Car parking available is tight. Rooms are on the small side and many rooms are rented out for the size...

Traditional small hotel fashioned from an old mansion. Friendly service. Small tv. Nice generous hot shower. Only disappointment was the included hot breakfast wasn't very nice. Overall pretty good value.

A thoroughly enjoyable time ,the beds were extremely comfortable. I never sleep properly on the first night away, this was the first time ever that I have. Only downside was the noise from the road, not only the traffic but students coming back late at night. But I soon got used to it. The actual house is lovely it's like...

A lovely overnight stay, can't fault it. High quality facilities all round, powerful shower, very good breakfast and wonderful beds, a warm and cosy experience with considerable period charm. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Friendly welcome and the place was pleasant enough. My room's decoration was dark and gloomy, the TV tiny, and the teddy bear theme not my thing. Access to the car park is tight if you have a big car with a poor turning circle!

Have stayed here many times over recent years with family and now again. Nice rooms of a bygone style with nice ensuite facilities. Breakfast is good and there is a good carpark. As mentioned in other reviews, the Teddy Bears theme is not to everyone's taste in bedrooms, but shouldn't be an issue. I've also personally found the owner Jonna...

My experience wasn't bad. Good things: good parking, free wi-fi, sky tv, location for the beach and two great restaurants, clean, comfortable bed, good shower. BUT. The decor is just plain strange for me personally. The furniture is dark, the walls are dark, the carpet is dark and there are a lot (and I mean a lot) of old photos...

This hotel is quirky and might not be to some tastes, but see beyond this and you have a very pleasant, clean and quiet, hotel, in an excellent position for the town and other amenities. The owners obviously work hard, but are very discreet. Breakfasts are excellent, with the usual choices of juice, cereal and cooked course, followed by coffee...
