Book to ensure a table. Lovely family atmosphere whether it be couples or relative celebration or just a get together - would certainly recommend Sunday lunch here. Staff are lovely too. Great choice of meat and vegetables - and a special board of various sweets. Plus if one of your party doesn't want a carvery theres a wide choice available...

Called in for a meal on the off chance and we could not have found a better place to eat . Staff were very friendly as was the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was plentiful with good choices and reasonable prices . Both starters and main were of a high quality and we were too full to have...

Avoid this place. The ambience is fairly muted, but exaggerated in a negative way, by brusque staff. A shame, as the pub itself is well appointed. The carvery is also a great disappointment. Full of geriatrics on tours.

Back down to earth with a bump, following a fabulous stay at the Griffin. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely friendly, welcoming man who had everything ready and waiting for us to check in. Our room, No 9 was lovely, clean & welcoming, and the bed.... oh my goodness! soooo comfortable! & the duvet.... a lovely weighted duvet,...

good food, comfortable and clean environment and the staff were brilliant! We visited in November and were a large group of mixed ages from 2 years to 50 years and there were 20 of us in total so not a small group by any standards. We booked ahead for the carvery and I have to say the food was very...

Eight aging motorcyclists traveled to Newquay for a break and stayed at The Griffin. We've visited this area many times but it's the first time for us to stay at The Griffin - We'll be back. Rooms were excellent, evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Be aware that Newquay is rather rowdy at night due to the bachelor and hen...
