Just come back from a great weekend. Right in the centre of things in Newquay with free parking which is a bonus. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The room we had, had just been done up so was very good. Our friends had room which hadn't been updated but was still very good. As last poster put on, somewhere...

Popped in here for a quick drink opposite witherspoons have to say is a bit more expensive however lovely even, old but nice great staff and loving the untouched feel of the venue reminds me of the 90's inside as an old pub I used to drink in.

I have recommended this restaurant to friends in the past and would still highly recommend a visit here if you're in Newquay. If you leave...

Great choice of meat and vegetables - and a special board of various sweets. Plus if one of your party doesn't want a carvery theres a wide choice available...

Called in for a meal on the off chance and we could not have found a better place to eat . Staff were very friendly as was the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was plentiful with good choices and reasonable prices . Both starters and main were of a high quality and we were too full to have...

Avoid this place. The ambience is fairly muted, but exaggerated in a negative way, by brusque staff. A shame, as the pub itself is well appointed. The carvery is also a great disappointment. Full of geriatrics on tours.

Back down to earth with a bump, following a fabulous stay at the Griffin. Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely friendly, welcoming man who had everything ready and waiting for us to check in. Our room, No 9 was lovely, clean & welcoming, and the bed.... oh my goodness! soooo comfortable! & the duvet.... a lovely weighted duvet,...
