We were welcomed very warmly when arriving at Tir Chonaill Lodge in Newquay. We stayed in a beautiful newly decorated En Suite Double room upstairs. Breakfast next morning was downstairs in a lovely dining room and was delicious. My husband and I enjoyed our stay here, and highly recommend this B&B when looking for a lovely place to stay in...

We booked this property to visit Newquay as part of a leaving do in Newquay. We choose the property as it had a Three Star Visit England Rating ( tourist board scheme). On booking, the owner was very friendly and helpful. On arrival, the owners daughter was very helpful assisting us to the bedrooms and providing fresh milk. Great car...

I booked the night before through Hotels.com when I needed to come to Newquay at short notice for work. I was very warmly welcomed and given a large room with a sea view. I told the landlady I would miss breakfast as needed to leave at 5.30am and she offered to put something out for me. When I went downstairs...

Shocking service. We booked and paid via Expedia . Arrived at 8pm to check in. No one there , front door locked . Rang the bell many times , called the home phone and mobile number on the front door . No answer . Just as we were about to leave a very rude and unhelpful woman answered the door...

A bit up from the town but a comfortable B&B with a large room. We had a great welcome and a good breakfast. Advice as to where to eat in Newquay was excellent. Only a one night stop as we were walking the SWCP.

Have stayed here twice now. Very comfortable EnSuite rooms with TV. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. If in Newquay, give this place a try. Just out of Town Centre. On site parking for a few cars, or car park close by.

I booked the Tir Chonaill Guest House at the last minute just for a couple of nights on route to our camping trip in St Ives and didn't want to leave. We had the family room, which slept 5 people (which in itself is a great find as most places only sleep 4 in a room at most) and the...

We stayed with our 2 children age 7 and 11. Bridie was very welcoming and nothing was to much for her or her staff. The room was lovely and big plenty of room and had an amazing view it was clean and towels were changed and beds made every day while we were out at breakfast. Breakfast was lovely again...

Where to start, well as the B&B had stated cots available I thought I would ring to check prior to our trip. Called and whilst dealing with my enquiry I was advised by Birdie she was very busy!! Asked did I not have my own travel cot, to which I advised I had and was then duly instructed to bring...

My friend booked the B&B for a Saturday night in Newquay & with 5 in a room was dreading what it would be like, having seen some of the accommodation in Newquay. However, after negotiating the very tight parking I was delighted with what we found! And for an absolute bargain too! The owner's were very friendly & showed us...

“As for a room at the back of the guest house as you will then get a sea view and I'd recommend using the back door of the guest house too as if you come out of the back door then turn right then left up a small walk way behind the houses, this is quicker and easier as it cuts out some of the steep hill.”
