Really great location & views. we stayed for a week with our dog we had a cottage which backed onto the golf course so great for the dog. it is a timeshare resort so quality of each cottage may vary ours was 8/10 bit like the resort could be with a spruce up but didn't impact on our stay. lovely... We stayed again at this site with our large Fifth Wheeler American caravan, which is the type of vehicle this touring site is aimed at. There are also cottages and normal sized motorhomes and caravans are welcome. The pitches are very large and easy access to the site which is what we like, fully serviced with water waste and electric... More

Carvynick Cottages is a beautiful, peaceful location in which to holiday. We have visited here for 30 years and have seen many changes. The new management have many plans for updating the accommodation, which is very welcome as it is rather dated. The new Spa rooms are a welcome addition too-Naomi's treatments are highly recommended (although soundproofing is needed as they are... More

Carvynick was once a timeshare resort, owned there and visited twice, nice location, at the time customer service wasn`t the strongest selling point, resort asked for respective timeshare back due to change of input from owners and the then management company, Good Luck to new management company as it deserves a new lease of life

We stayed here again but with our fifth wheel set up this time. A great location and very quiet which we love. You check in park your RV and you are totally left alone unless you want any assistance. Shame the on site restaurant is still not open, but there is a pub which sells very good food a short... More

Situated in a peaceful surroundings, and first impressions were good. However, cottages rather dated and furniture/appliances in need of upgrading. Cottage layout was great, with bedrooms/bathrooms downstairs and living area upstairs, with small balcony, though this was very dark, quite dirty and flooded when it rained. Restaurant onsite still closed and looking rather derelict, which is such a shame as it... More

Such a shame. No doubt at one time this was a top quality site but it is now uncared for as are its visitors. The restaurant which according to the website was due to open in April is apparently closed permanently (a fact that was not disclosed until after the balance was paid) On the plus side the swimming pool... Okay, so you can't expect sunshine in February. But we were looking forward to going to the resort. Now there's a word. In my mind resort (holiday resort) I think of a relaxing, happy place within close proximity of a beach(maybe a mile or so away). That offers some facilities on site such as somewhere to eat, maybe entertainment even... More

The guest in question booked his holiday with Carvynick Country Cottages through Dial and Exchange. Myself and my friends visited off season in Nov 14. Whilst the weather was cold we had the whole resort to ourselves which was great!
