Hi, Stopped at the Victoria for 1 night, this is a good hotel and is ideally situated for the town. I would say it its heyday it would fantastic, it is slightly run down in places but for the one night was good to stay. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice and great views over the beech. Staff were...

Had such a lovely night stay here, clean room with all the services you could need. Breakfast the next morning was perfect and in such a great location; would definitely recommend. All staff extremely friendly and willing to help- asked for a few extra pillows and 5 minutes later were brought them up to our room. Room itself was large...

I stayed here for two nights whilst on a golf break. Although the extra £5 a night charge to park was a suprise and the hotel was very dated and had a slightly tired aura. The room was spartan but all i required, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The hotel...

bed was comfortable but room in need of decoration/refurb, some damp evident however overall hotel was far too hot/stuffy even though at night was close to 0 deg outside. Breakfast VERY poorly managed. Ran out of some items, no one seemed to be managing it and food lukewarm. Very disappointing in this respect. However if you get a good deal...

Basically not great. My partner and I stayed and have never had such a noisy and relatively uncomfortable bed in our lives. Check in wasn't a problem, very friendly member of staff thought for some reason you have to pay to actually park at the hotel! £5 a night! Ridiculous when you're meant to be a 'guest'. what they advertise...

Very basic, got the room for a low price due to very last minute, wouldn't be happy if I had to pay full price, bed wasn't very pleasant, extremely hard mattress. Swimming pool and jacuzzi facilities were very clean, as well at the hotel it's self. Didn't eat at the hotel, due to the prices, booking system and menu. Also...

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for one night to celebrate my birthday. Where others have described the hotel in need of refurbishment I would say it has 'character.' It has lovely sea views, our room and bathroom were huge and it was clean and comfortable. The best things about this hotel though are its central location and...

The nice location and price was the only good thing with this hotel. The hotel was old and dated and both bedlights didn't work. The said they had free wifi in the lobby but we couldn't connect. When we complained they restarted the router but still no internet connection. I don't recommend this hotel

We were happy with this hotel and would stay here again. However for the price we felt that bathrobes would be nice to have in the rooms so that one can travel to the spa/pool area in comfort and not have to change down there (in protest we just wandered down in our swimming gear!). The room was huge as...
