This is the kind of Hotel that really needs the public support. It is a fixture in New Quay, some 90 years old and still maintains its art deco features. Although part of the Best Western group, the Bristol is still a family run independent business. With so many soulless Travelodges and Premier Inns taking over the industry, I think...

We enjoyed the sea view, the swimming pool (beware of the swimming lessons going on), the location as we did not have to go into Newquay town, but most of all the friendly service and the dinners were very good with a new menu each evening and breakfast poached eggs were very good too. The decor a bit dated but...

We booked a Best Western deal of 3 nights B&B. Great position on the cliff tops overlooking a surfers beach. Our first room was a disaster with the ceiling cracked and bits of plaster hanging off, someone had tried to kick in the door and split the architrave. This hotel has seen better days, and quite a lot of them...

We stayed one night and had a very large sea view room. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful, couldn't fault them. The hotel is in a wonderful position but needs a complete refurb.

We stayed in The Bristol Hotel in Newquay over the late August bank holiday weekend last year. We had a great room with a good sea view and we were very comfortable. The hotel was slightly dated but nevertheless it was clean and pleasant. Newquay itself has seriously gone down bank since I was younger and that was sad to...

We have stayed or dined at the hotel on numerous occasions over many years for various functions and have always found the hotel staff welcoming, the service excellent, the rooms clean and well furnished in Art Deco style, and the food, etc., very good.

I loved the view from the hotel, the cliffs and the ocean are amazing.. the hotel is a bit old but very clean, as I was visiting in January I had the pool all for myself that was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well, so I enjoyed my stay

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the friendly staff. Everywhere we went in the hotel, the staff acknowledged you with a smile. It's an old worldly hotel, with old fashioned furnishings which we loved. We had a sea view room which was beautiful and very large. Everything was very clean and the grand room for breakfast...

Another stay at this most wonderful hotel. As usual the staff are always polite and cheerful. Every member of staff make you feel special and welcome. The food is excellent. The rooms are warm, and comfortable. Roll on the next stay.
