My nephew and I stayed 3 night's at the Ravensbury, After reading the review posted by Jacqui S & Frankdux69. we were expecting the worse. However we arrived early, Nichola allowed us straight into the room 12 noon lunch time, She was pleasant and welcoming, breakfast was very good and plenty to choose from, I'm a bit picky how I...

My sister and I stayed at this lovely guesthouse for two nights, Room 4, at the back on the Ist floor which is very spacious, well decorated with lovely country views. Great value for money. (Don’t take any notice of the poor reviews! Some people just like criticising everything and want something for nothing!) Nikki treated us exceptionally well, she...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights. We had booked a small en-suite room which appeared immaculate and was reasonably priced. Unexpectedly on arrival, we were offered the choice of a much larger room by the thoughtful owner. Although this was not a sea view room it also had a nice country view at the rear and was...

All is good here - only the hallway and stairs are in a little bit of need of some TLC but the room was fab - Room 3 at the front with the bay window and sea view. The en suite is by far the best I have seen in a small hotel of this type. Brilliant breakfast and the...

First rule of business :- Be nice to your customers as without them you are nothing. The first minute of meeting the proprietor was great, friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we were escorted in through the back of the building where it was obvious the place needs a good bit of work doing on it. Nevertheless we were looking forward to...

In response to this review. you were invited to take a short cut into the Hotel to save you carrying your bags too far, this happens to be the living quarters which is separate to the business. With reference to my snapping this has obviously been taken out of context. Fixture and Fittings comment. Unfortunately a previous guest flooded the...

Where to start..... We can't rate the food as we never ate there. We can't rate the room as there were bits missing. We can't rate the hospitality as it was non existent. On informing Nicki of our intentions to one day live in Newquay we were told "we don't want you here you're not welcome and the water bills...

All comments have been replied to in the husbands review except for the Cat. The Cat is not allowed on to the business premises, she may have been sighted on the flat roof in the sunshine, so with regards to allergies, I would like to alleviate any fears for future guests at The Ravensbury Bed & Breakfast.

Stayed for 5 nights in Room 7. Comfortable bed and clean room, with lovely view of Fistral. Friendly proprietor, who was always on hand and a decent breakfast every morning. Would have been made slightly more comfortable with greater pressure in shower. Would return again, welcoming and friendly b&b

Visited the ravensbury for a few nights in Aug. We stayed in the budget room, although very small, it did us fine. Clean, nicely decorated and we'll maintained. Shower took quite some time to heat up and not very powerful. Bed comfy, breakfast delicious and Nikki couldn't have been more friendly, and welcoming. Thanks for an enjoyable stay x
