Just spent 4 nights at this hotel and were very dissapointed to say the least. We are a family of 6 and booked one family room and one twin room. The rooms were very shabby and dirty, the bathrooms were very small and had also seen better days. The beds were uncomfortable with ridiculously thin pillows. The shower was quite...

Overall impression was of a 'make do' operation-noisy floor within and above our room. Very small bed despite specific request for a king size.... no apology or reference to failure to deliver on this. Bed poor and noisy even to get out of it. Shower badly needed to have drain cleared,as base filled within 2 minutes. Poor reception, guest engagement with...

Very disappointed with this hotel. Paid £108 for a double room for one night, which from our experience, was very overpriced. Strengths Comfy bed Good location Excellent views from restaurant Bar staff very friendly Weaknesses Tatty room, cheap furnishings in need of updating Room not very clean Rubbish views from room Overpriced Everything was extra- wifi extra, breakfast extra! I stayed here for a night ahead of a flight out of Newquay. For the price paid (under £60 for B&B) it was fine. Yes the room looked out at a wall, but the room was in a reasonable condition (bathroom could do with some attention), but it was quiet and the bed really comfy (although it was only a...

For the amount paid for one night - no complaints. The 10m indoor leisure pool and sauna absolutly great and not crowded. Food in the bistro and the views across the bay were equally good. the room was a little sparce and had been refurbished to a contemporary beach theme - although this was okay, the period building did still...

We arrived at the hotel plenty of parking right on the cliff top the location is amazing and the staff were very polite friendly and polite but was it worth a night of restless sleep? For the money we paid I was expecting a little more. What we got was water leaking through the ceiling in the bathroom a pool...

We booked to stay at the Glendorgal Hotel because it was extremely close to a wedding we were attending. We had an Ocean view room and were not dissapointed by the amazing view. The staff were also extremely friendly, but the hotel was overpriced and not good value for money at all. Cleanliness - The carpet in our room was...

We stayed at the Glendorgan when we visited Newquay to attend an event at Lusty Glaze Beach. The hotel is ideally situated and has plenty of car parking spaces. We had a sea view which was pretty breathtaking and it was wonderful to open the outside door and listen to the sound of the sea and watch the sunrise. The...

We had spent the week on the South Cornwall coast but as the weather was so good, we decided to have an extra night in Newquay. As we anticipated hotels would be busy, we used laterooms.com We found the Glendorgal hotel which we have previously stayed in the self catering cottages so knew of the complex. We paid £110 for...

Went to a wedding at this hotel so thought it would be an ideal place to stay. The wedding was put on to a high standard where everyone had a great time. Would also highly praise every member of staff we interacted with. As a family with 2 small kids we had a family room; the main bed had an...
