Went there 20th - 25th March this year,good local bus company in Lincoln. Can't knock it, the hotel overall probably needs some decorating and refurbishment, but cleanliness, food, quality for money, friendly staff, and especially the night time entertainment, was real value. hi guys, weekend break to newquay at the sandy lodge. arrived friday 31st march for 3 nights dinner b and b and 2 4 1 bar from 6 till 9 each night. we arrived late and were greeted by a smiling happy lady who welcomed us to the hotel booked us in with no problems and showed us the way...

Very convenient location for visiting other destinations in Cornwall eg Eden Project, Padstow, . Excellent food, good entertainments in the evening, pool etc available although not personally visited.

room was comfortable and clean, also had a balcony, not much of a view but nice to be able to sit outside weather permitting. The food was excellent, the dessert's were fabulous! table service for eve meal. Entertainment was very good. The staff were always ready to help and were friendly. It was nice having a selection of goods available...

Stayed or a week in feb, while house hunting. Staff are warm and friendley and could not be more helpfull. Breakfast great its a buffet, set's you up well for the day, lots of choice. Central only 2min walk into town. 5min to town center, Wold recomend it to anyone wisking to visit Newquay. M & J

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early March 2017 as part of a weekend package organised through Majestic Holidays (by coach). Just back from Sandy Lodge hotel Newquay --- weather rubbish holiday brilliant Neville our waiter has .. Dining room down to a fine art no waiting dishes cleared straight away food excellent as always

Good little hotel with a small gym pool sauna etc. I had a single room the bed was not the comfiest but was OK toilet shower room was adequate. Huge choice of food at breakfast which was self serve. Evening meal was served to your table with good choices and food was all very good especially the cakes. Would definitely...

stayed a night here to meet my mum on a coach tour here, public areas clean and tidy rooms slowly being refurbished - ours hadnt been but was clean, comfy and had what you need. Breakfast was very nice and they managed to keep the self service food piping hot - something that a lot of fancier hotels dont seem...
