Food good, rooms very poor, beds and pillows terrible. Rubber attachment on bath taps was supposed to be shower, husband had to hold toilet seat up to use. no room safe, windows so old black with mold. Will definately not return here

great place to stay the pool is nice sauna perfect jacuzzi is nice too and the gym could be improved with better equipment. the rooms were very clean and comfy to sleep in but very hot at night even with the radiators off. over all really good

I live in Newquay, and went to the Sandy Lodge for a lovely aromatherapy massage from Lesley. Would certainly recommend,good value for money. Great Hotel with a lovely friendly atmosphere, well worth a visit.

I would definitely recommend going to see Lesley at the therapy pod.Fantastic massage some of it with hot stones... I'd certainly would recommend that as it was so relaxing.Such a lovely Lady and I came away feeling great!Will be back again soon.:-)

Firstly I would like to say Newquay is a fantastic place to visit with the best beaches in this country I have seen.... The hotel on the other hand was a big disappointment, The staff were friendly and helpful enough however very few people under 30 ... and I felt with the (very quiet) music Sandy Lodge only catered for...

It was a long , but as - pleasant - as - possible , journey from Edinburgh to Newquay , and the staff were waiting for us , at Sandy Lodge with an excellent dinner , followed by really good entertainment (Mr. Johnny Morse .) My room was warm , comfortable , and spotless . Every member of the staff...

Just got back from a stay at the Sandy Lodge Hotel, what a great week food excellent staff really friendly and rooms very good. We had entertainment every night and your morning started off with a great breakfast. I would certainly return here,

Stayed there from the 24th of April to the 27th and found the hotel really good.Staff moved us to a different room as we weren"t happy with no problems.Rooms clean and pleasant and the meals in the resteraunt were exceptional especially the breakfasts and the desert trolley.

We have been to sandy lodge a couple of times. Whilst the rooms can be a little tired and dated, the staff certainly are not, the restaurant staff are excellent, they make you feel at home. Travelled as a couple from Yorkshire both in our early 20s. My partner has elderly relatives who live in Newquay so we have stayed at the Sandy Lodge 4 times now (my partner has stayed a lot more as he used to stay here when he was a kid). We have never had a problem and always found the staff...
