Having to book a late Hotel for a business trip in the area I was more than anxious when I saw the price. Having to turn up late I had a very warm welcome. I was given a twin room, it was clean tidy and warm on Monday 1 December 2014. The breakfast was excellent, I could not have wished...

Located on the main street, great for exploring Penzance, but also easy access to Marazion, St. IVES and all other towns by car, bus or train. The room was fine, nothing fancy, a bit worn, and they did forget to clean one day out of three. The breakfast, included in the room fee, was good, a typical English meal of...

For good value this is a great place to stay for a short break or stop over. The staff were friendly and the ensuite room was clean and more than adequate. Remember! this is a pub with rooms so do not expect perfection but accept a better standard of quality against the tariff charged which by the way included a...

The UK tourist industry is let down by so much accommodation that is dowdy, tatty, bodge-maintained and just plain dirty – and I’m sorry to say the Longboat Inn is one of them. It makes me feel guilty to accept the hospitality of an inn and then criticise it, but I guess that’s why Trip Advisor exists so that others...

We stayed for one night in what could be described as poor accommodation. The bed base covers had stains on and clearly needed washing. The double bed was two singles pushed together and the matress cover did not fit, so came off in the night. There was a lot of mold around the shower, the carpet near the bathroom was...

The reception area for the hotel was part of a pleasant large bar area on the ground floor. Having paid for the three nights we were booked for, we were directed to our rooms upstairs. On the way we passed through the sitting room on the first floor which had a big window with a view down the opposite street...

Stayed here before and after walking the Cornish Coastal Path. Location is excellent, just behind the train station and on the Coastal Path. Although the room was a little outdated, for the price it is excellent value. Food in the restaurant was fine and the Vegetarian sausage at breakfast time was the best I have ever tasted. Nice old fashioned...

Price is fine and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was also good and the staff friendly. Poor score mainly due to plastic sheets - terrible sweaty nights sleep and for that reason much better to go elsewhere - shame really....
