Family run, great room, sea view, friendly owner, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, a hot shower that even I can fathom how to work first time (!) and an easy walk from the Rail and Bus stations along the prom. I particularly liked the do-it-yourself-breakfast in the room, meaning that I could get up when i wanted and also avoid that...

Good location. Short walk to the sea. 5 minute drive to st Michaels mount. Not huge rooms but exactly what we needed. Everything included. TV, bathroom, fridge, coffee and tea, breakfast and even a microwave. Would stay again if in Penzance again.

Stayed here en- route to Isles of Scilly. Ideally located about 100 yds from the IOS car park facility and about half a mile from the port. Rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is provided in your room with your own micro wave, toaster and egg boiler? Perfect for travelling and leaving early to catch the boat. Very reasonably...

We were met with a friendly welcome from Steve who was always on hand to recommend places to eat etc.The location is very convenient with an easy walk both into Penzance and along to Newlyn. Parking is in the street and although busy we always found a place to park bearing in mind it is high season. Our room was...

We love this place, we are always made to feel very welcome indeed. As very keen fishermen we visit Penzance all the time and once we found Steve and the Du Porth we don't go anywhere else, most of the rooms are big and beautifully decorated, (some are a bit smaller). I have seen on other posts here that the...

This was a lovely little BnB just off Penzance Seafront. We were greeted well and help was on hand with advice for local restaurants, etc. The room was very comfortable - modern and nice beds. Also, a sea view. Breakfast was in fact a DIY in room affair but really everything was there: nice yoghurt and fresh fruit, muffins, croissants,...

We stopped off here for one night on our way to the Isles of Scilly. The B&B is in a good location one street back from the sea front, very close to the Isles Of Silly parking and not far from the Scillonian departure point. The owner greeted us on arrival and he was very friendly and helpful. Our room...

This Guest House is away from the main Penzance town and so be aware that it is a 15 minute brisk walk into town. The location is quiet and pleasant. The Guest House is looking a little tired and needs some work doing on it. The bed in Room 1 is uncomfortable and squeaks with every move. It needs changing....

nice and clean, however they don't take credit or debit cards, continental breakfast, aka do it yourself in your room. Quite cold and I think there are better value venues in the area. Its at the quiet side of the town, parking is available on street, although I had my door kicked and dented but that could be just bad...

I stayed at Duporth for one night during March 2015 and thankfully, the weather in Penzance was amazing. We were given a prettily furnished and comfortable room, with all the appliances one could hope for. Staff were friendly and I was glad for the free wi-fi!
