I've stayed in many guest houses in Pz but Penmorvah is the best. Fantastic brekkie, immaculately clean and well appointed rooms, dead comfy bed and last but not least Nigel and Michelle are top notch hosts. I'm headed down again soon but unfortunately I couldn't get a room, just goes to show how good they are!!

We stopped here as part of a 47-mile walk from St. Ives to Penzance and back again. Our hosts, Michelle and Nigel, were wonderful, and not only provided us with the breakfast of our choosing, but also went the extra step to suggest nearby restaurants for our evening meal. The B&B is centrally located and we had trouble finding it....

My mum and aunt, just spent a long weekend in Penzance, and insisted I write a review for Penmorvah. The hotel itself is in very good order, the rooms are really comfortable. In particular, the bathrooms great, with brilliant showers. Breakfasts were cooked to order, and there was a good selection on offer. Most importantly, the hosts at the hotel...

Stayed for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. Nigel the owner greeted us and showed us to our room with a small jug of milk for hot drinks. Pleasant and bright room overlooking the back with kettle and hairdryer provided. Only gripe was that the radiator didn't work meaning it was a cold night and morning (January) although...

Stayed here overnight on business, Nigel & Michelle are fantastic hosts who made me & my dog very welcome. The place is spotless, & my room (Round Island) was immaculately clean with a comfy bed, good facilities & a great shower/en-suite. Breakfast was also superb with good quality produce & plenty of choice. I will definitely visit again. Don't let...

We stayed here for 3 nights & were very happy. Nigel & Michelle, the owners, are very good hosts & our room was clean & comfortable, as was the en suite bathroom. The accommodation is a 15 minute walk away from the town Centre which suited us perfectly as it was nice & quiet at night. As the guest house...

Lovely stay with my wife and family! We had two rooms, very humble, clean and tidy! Staff was great upon arrival explaining even the surrounding areas. Very quiet during the night. Excellent breakfast served with authentic hospitality! Definitely recommended! Thank you

Stayed 3 nights. Friendly and welcoming hosts, spotless and comfy bedroom. Great nights sleep. Breakfast was great, filling with lots of choices. Would definitely stay there again. Parking was on street but never a problem.

We have stayed at Penmorvah for a number of years now and have to say that Michelle and Nigel are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. They will do anything in their power to help you and to make your stay comfortable. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is superb. We have experienced a...

Our booking confirmed we had booked a double room. The photo showed the front of the building with the caption" this is your double room at the front ". ( same photo as on this site). We were aghast to be shown a dog box room at the back of the house overlooking backyard cluttered with rubbish including old toilet....
