My wife and I spent an impromptu night here during a short trip around West Cornwall. The newly decorated room with en-suite was very clean and comfortable - worthy of a smart hotel and a very pleasant surprise in such an old pub. The only downside was our room outlooked onto the main through road which was in pretty constant...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Dolphin Tavern during our recent trip to Cornwall. The location is great and close to the harbour. We used the hotel as a base to visit Penzance, St. Ives and Lands End etc. We had a nice large room with good views, the pub was great to relax in after a long day...

My husband and I spent two nights at the The Dolpin earlier this month and it is has the most amazing views from the bedrooms where you can relax and watch the activity of those wishing to board the ferry to the Isle of Scilly. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommend a stay...

My parnter and I recently stayed a night and had dinner in this very friendly pub. The food was very tasty, I had the sizzling mushroom dish whilst my parnter had the lasagne, both quite rich but very good. Our room was a generous size, lovely modern bathroom and it had a great view of the harbor. The only thing...

Came here after a good meal the previous month. The roast was delicious and hot. It was extremely busy and the poor staff were rushed off their feet, however, they seemed to have forgotten about us on a couple occasions - asking us what we would like. Our response:could we see a menu first? I also noticed several times the...

My wife and I stayed two nights , one before catching the Scillonian and one on returning. It couldn't be any closer to the ferry. We were pleasantly surprised. Whilst there are only 3 rooms, they are recently renovated to a very high standard with nice bathrooms . The service was first class as were the meals. We have no...

Stayed just the one night on our return from the Isles of Scilly to break the journey home. Richard has an excellent team of staff and we were made to feel welcome. Very nice decent sized room overlooking the harbour with views to St Michael's Mount. Comfy bed and spotless bathroom and quite quiet considering the location. Had dinner and...
